I sold the last of my big Xander cards. Overall he's going to be my biggest hit this year in terms of ROI and probably $ too. He really didn't do anything but be Xander...and play for a winner instead of a loser.

Xander strikes me as a guy who won't be fully appreciated until after he retires and then people will be like, "damn look at that body of work, Bogaerts was really good."

Picked up a couple rare ones recently.

1st Bowman Chrome Red /5

Topps Chrome base auto - check out the pop reports for the base versus the Gold /50. The base is believed to have less than 25 copies, possibly less than 10. Anyone know the story there?

Fantastic! I didn’t know that about Xander’s base auto.

FWIW Devers’ base chrome ‘18 is also SP… I’ve estimated its print run is probably just beyond purple (maybe 400), and he has no refractor /499

Newish to the Boards...finally found a Xander thread! So underrated. His 2014 Topps Chrome Atomic Auto is a grail card for me. Have the red, sepia, and black autos
