Haha! I’ll get some pics up. Its got a few nicks on the corners/edges, so it would probably grade an 8 or so. Only a few people in my inner-circle know I have it & my buddies have been egging me about taking it for grading for years. After the 7th SB win, I might have to rent a brinks truck, lol.

I thought the same with mine and PSA gave me a 6.5! They’re very hard on the card! If you send it to PSA it will cost you $25,000+ it’s a million dollar card. Get the auto grade that will be extra. If you don’t ever plan to sell I would have BGS grade they won’t charge you based on the value of the card. For re-sale PSA for sure. Just hope they assign a numerical grade that’s tough all by itself.

I got mine when he had won #2 and finally sent it off to get graded during the '07 season when his cards started exploding nationally instead of just around the NE area. Came close to selling it a couple of times myself, but so glad I held on. It's really too bad that it costs nearly a fortune to grade and ship now. That's going to be a bitter pill to swallow when you eventually decide to cash in.

I pulled mine from a pack in 2000. Was buying boxes looking to pull a Peter warrick. Jamal Lewis. Ron Dwayne. Shaun Alexander. I would have even taken a chad Pennington at the time. But lucky for me I pulled a ton of Brady’s that year mostly from crown royals and bowman chrome. I treated them all like gold immediately and in turn they changed my life

Folks are realizing that the 2002 Super Bowl Auto is Brady's first Patch Auto, the only Brady card to include a piece of a game used ball from his first Super Bowl, and a great looking card.

I saw one last month at the Philly show that I believe was an 8 and the dealer was asking 70k. Guess that price just went up

That’s awesome! Yeah, the big auction sites have offered high-value shipping labels to them & offer to arrange grading. Not sure how safe I feel putting it in the mail, might just fly it over when that time comes.

I'll also heard that there are a couple of other copies they have sold for significantly more. Of course they are private deals so hard to confirm but I'd say theres plenty of room to grow for that card.

Think I'm going to have mine graded in the next couple of months.

Good luck with it whenever you do list it. That is the right perspective IMO, I am not someone who wants a ton of money after it is too late to truly enjoy. Whatever you get, it will certainly get you time, which is priceless.

I just started a thread for this specific card in an attempt to archive photos of as many examples as possible. The one that sold for $305k is the one pictured in that thread. Nice 3-color patches are extremely rare (from what I can tell so far they account for roughly 20% of the run, with 70% being just brown)...and then finding a really nice auto can be a bit of a challenge as well. This PSA 9 was arguably the nicest combination of grade / patch / auto, which is a big part of why it sold as high as it did.
