This is a product where nostalgia can play a big part of the appreciation. Reminds me of Garbage Pail Kids Sapphire…takes people back to their childhoods.

I don't understand the hype for this. The hope I have for the set moving forward is a Legends Colorblast. I want a Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, or Bret Hart Color blast. Those cards would be amazing. Austin too.

I have 2 friends that collect Pokemon, but are also pretty big WWE fans.
Talked a little about this last week and they got hyped. They're out looking around Vegas for some, as I type this.

Supply and demand. There won't be regrets as prices are only going up.

Regrets will be from itchy holders who bust and get nothing

They dont collect cards at all, outside of casually buying one of those Pokemon blisters, where you get 1 or 2 booster packs, maybe once every 3 months at Target.

Yea, that's just the nature of things. Someone that flushed $1,000 down the toilet is less likely to go post online about it than someone that got a card worth thousands, same thing always happens. FOMO is certainly very real and outshines FUD nine times out of ten. People's best bet if they are on the fence is watch some breaks on Youtube as those are unfiltered, then make the decision. So they will see the good, the bad, and the ugly. If you can afford it, go for it, its certainly exciting. I just hope no one is going into debt hoping to pull The Rock Black Prizm.

Yeah I had 2 random packs in a case break so watched it all.

Boxes with points, boxes with only 1 auto, no color blast in the case and very average autos.

Going to take some very ballsy people to rip but good on them. I love opening cards

did 3 random packs and got a Ford and silver Trish Stratus auto. So that makes up for the massive L of a first box. Looks like legends are going to sell well in this product.

At this point, I think you are right. The only risk is the unknown and unpredictable, which is simply does the card market continue to go up or does it come back down to earth in a year, or two years, or five. That's one thing stopping me from upping my "max" for singles, I am worried I'll pay $500 for a card today that in three years I can get for $200. No way of knowing that of course and impossible to say. Personally if I had a box sealed, if I could get a 50% profit on it at some point (which I 100% think will happen within the next six months) I'd probably sell it and call it a win, but the risk is part of the fun.
