What is the trick to see grades early?

Sorry but I couldn’t find the answer searching the forum. I seem to remember people talking about seeing grades when their cards get to QA2. Just anxious to see them and would enjoy trying the method.

You can do word searches in the Pop Reports, also zero in on the most recent "graded" cards. If you are subbing a rare/semi-rare/numbered card it should be pretty easy to see your card posted online before you get your grades e-mail.

Looking at the comments on that video you can see grades when theyre in Assembly.

Update: the video wasn't enough to get me there. He already has sets in the registry. The pop report doesn't recognize any of my cert #s. I do know the pop report on the 3 2021 Bowman Next autos I have and they haven't changed.
This is an example of one of my cards that there aren't any of yet:
cert# 58436626 - 2021 BOWMAN NEXT BASEBALL AMERICA'S TOP 100 PROSPECTS AUTOGRAPH BA13C RONNY MAURICIO ORANGE

I'm not desperate to know, I thought it would be fun.

The pop reports won't update until over night after the cards are done and your credit card has been charged and you get an e-mail. The registry trick doesn't use the pop reports. You're adding a card to an existing registry set and seeing how many points it adds. Seems like it only works in the app, and not doing it on your computer on the PSA website.

And he has to have a set in the registry that contains this specific card - which is often not the case for such a new card, because they're very, very slow to update.

Looks like you have a PSA 8 incoming. I’ve screenshot it but currently driving and can’t get it to upload.

Edited to add: to see for yourself you would just need to download the psa registry app, and add the Tom Brady Master Set to the sets you are wanting to start (this card isn’t included in his rookie set registry since it’s an insert). Then go to the “what if” and add the cert number. It’s showing that it’s worth 8 points which implies it’s graded an 8.

A card that is tied for the highest grade in its population gets 1 bonus point.

Congrats in advance! Fair warning though, remember that they can and do downgrade cards in the QA1 and QA2 stages of the process, so don't start counting the chickens until the eggs have finished hatching.

I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
