Lmao, we aren't talking about life in some abstract way. We are talking about business and delivering on what the consumer is paying you for.

Almost all business in which goods are purchased have a policy to replace something that is damaged, was not delivered as promised and so on.

As a small business owner if some element of my services are not on par or as described you can be damn sure I compensate that in some form to ensure customer satisfaction.

The consumer is spending hundreds or thousands on Panini products, if it comes out of the box damaged that is on Panini and must be remedied.

Your mentality is one that is starting to take hold throughout the consumer marketplace because we have monopolies to the point that these companies are so big they can get away with raping and pillaging the consumer and getting away with it because there's no other competition insight.

What we need now more than ever is consumers demanding that these large companies are held accountable and that the consumer isn't screwed at every twist and turn.

I got one of these jagged/wavy top edge /17 cards too and didn't realize this was even an option. Nothing to lose sending it in since I figure it's basically worthless. Thanks op!

I think base cards of bench warmers should be sent back to the companies until they learn how to print cards without damaging them. I'm 110% for sending stuff back to them, I hope they fix it and make it right. Cards are too expensive to buy just to allow them to sell you literal garbage.

You don't go to Pizza Hut, pay for a pizza, then get a wadded up clump of crusts left over from the lunch buffet

Update on mine, Got my replacement Burrow Contenders on Saturday 4/23! Very happy with it but it is very frustrating not being able to get in touch with anyone at Panini. I've found the only way to get a response is to email bomb them. Its sad but its the only way I can ever get a response, not sure why they even have a CS phone # listed, no one ever answers and they definitely don't ever call back or listen to the messages.

I will admit though if I hit an expensive card and it was damaged I would probably take advantage of it.

I'm in a similar boat (albeit on a much less valuable card). Sent back a Magic Johnson Spectra Gold Auto /10 almost 2 years ago now because it came out of the pack looking like it had been run over by a truck (absolutely smashed corners, scratches, creases, etc). I was able to get a response from somebody about a year ago but it was the classic "we can't give you a timeframe but we are working on it still". Haven't been able to get a response from anybody since. I've even told them I'm willing to talk replacement if that's easier.

Like you I tried to just send an email here and there plus call the CS # and would leave a message but never got any kind of response whatsoever but I can say that Email Bombs work! I sent an email to CS and Emily on Friday and just kept re-sending the email over and over repeatedly. At least 50 of them, maybe a lot more lol. Shortly after I got a "Card has Shipped" email from Panini and I had my card in hand the next day. Never did I get a response from anyone in CS but I think they got the point. Its sad it has to go this way to get a response from anyone at Panini.

If I go to buy a tire, and the Tire has a hole in it, I will get a replacement tire. If I order a shirt, and it comes with a hole in it, I will expect a replacement shirt. If I get a valuable card that is mangled, I should get a replacement card.

I appreciate the approach story and I will give it a try. I have literally begged for a similar valued replacement, just anything so I can stop stressing as Josh Allen will probably contend in the playoffs and all star voting for the next decade plus. At 53yo I am less about the money and more about the principal. It should be noted I also have a Saquon Barkley RPA that 3 years ago would of fetched good money but now not so much. Panini kills card values one way or another. I have asked for a white box which is very fair for a Josh Allen RPA as I have seen the values and comps are in line. It should not take a miracle for Panini to make this happen but e-mail Bomb it shall be. Emily Brooke and other reps have largely ignored me and I must turn up the heat with multiple emails, tweets, online forums, everywhere I can say “Hey Panini, Josh Allen RPA is a large card to go 3 years with nothing to show”…PS…thanks for destroying Saquon as 3 years ago I’m sure it would of been great trade bait but now it’s a paper weight! You smell like rotten cheese and stale corn chips Panini…yes, I am bitter!

I feel your pain, I have to say though, although I did email bomb them, they were polite email bombs. LOL

Anyone know how long it's been taking them to check-in replacements? Previously it had only taken a day, but I sent one that got delivered to the front desk last Friday and still not showing as received in their system.

I sent a lowish end card stupidly about 15 months ago and fear i'll never get it back

Postage cost more than the card after the drop

I just got notification that my Ja Morant Optic Wave & Green Wave replacement was sent... I originally submit that ticket on June 30, 2020. Not bad though, I'm getting a Hakeem USA jersey auto from 2019 Opulence

Default What are your thoughts on sending a factory damaged valuable card back to Panini

Was there any communication prior that got you to a replacement?

Anyone send anything recently? Still hasn't been marked as received from two Fridays ago. I don't really care how long it takes them to replace them, but would be nice to at least acknowledge they've been received as it didn't take long in the past.

Nope. I basically forgot about those cards. I was ok with the replacement because the cards were just Fanatics box set cards, but I have some pretty big ones still there that I’d like to communicate with them directly
