Wowzers Marco Luciano! When you guys said his prices have dipped you weren't kidding (maybe from a different thread). I'm working my way through the Price Index right now and I think he's lost half of his value relative to the market.

Let's not make a lazy "Braves CF prospect so he must be similar" comp. Very different profiles. Pache was always a glove-first, poor approach guy who was projected to grow into his power but would struggle to get to a .320 OBP. Harris is an instinctive hitter with a power-speed combination and better approach / contact ability (8% BB, 18% SO) vs. Pache (7% BB, 23% SO). Pache's defense-first profile is trending way downwards in the prospect rankings ecosystem - Harris' contact ability and raw tools are better than Pache has ever had.

I'm not saying Harris will be the #1 overall player but if you watch the two players he bears very little resemblance to Pache other than the team and position.

It will be Mayer or Volpe. They look at the total package.

Carroll is great but that is not the prototypical frame.

I'm a Carroll guy.

I think they angle him for either a 20-25 AB cup of coffee, or tell him to win the job in ST 2023 without it. So, he'll be eligible for me.
