2021/22 Donruss or Hoops Retail, which is better?

There are a ton of both products available near me. I have some gift cards to burn and some extra tax money

I'm leaning hoops because of the inserts but donruss is "better". What would you do?

I prefer the Hoops. Easier centering to grade the rookies and the SLAM insert is better than anything you'll get in Donruss. The color laser cards I've received from Donruss were all of non-stars.

Hoops. The inserts and autos available are a little better imo.

Prefer the Laser RCs in Donruss to anything Hoops has. But Slam Holos in Hoops are a nice retail chase.

Donruss - Lasers and Rated Rookie logo

It's a tie for me. I'm starting to prefer paper over chrome cards so both sets I like more than most people

I like Donruss more. Opened a bunch of retail and got absolutely kicked in the nuts each time.

Tried Hoops retail and did much better. Your mileage may vary.

Hoops, because of their inserts. But panini makes both so they win no matter which one you buy.

Donruss doesn’t have the good inserts in retail. Slams are decent, especially the holos.

Definitely Hoops IMO...Slam Inserts and 75th Anniversary parallels.

I like Donruss too but once Optic comes out, those would be the Rated Rookies to have.
