Season long fantasy baseball discussion

Quite the underdog this year in my league, as I gave up my top 4 draft picks and cheap keepers that weren't contributing for most of last year (Acuna, Robert, Manoah, Franco) to win it all. Therefore I decided to make a thread for anyone to recommend weekly sleepers for leagues.


3 weeks in, I've lucked out with some solid drafting but have been struggling to get my solid 3B. Drafted Chapman and dropped him for Donaldson this week. Drafted Swanson for my SS and was able to somehow pick up Crawford this week so I improved there.

I'll be updating this year round to give some opinions myself, so let's talk weekly fantasy!

I made sure to get 3B early. To shallow of a position. Lucked out and got JRam with 5th pick and grabbed Austin Riley in my other league.

The only thing has bailed me out in a couple of my leagues is dual position availability at 3rd

Who are been some of your guys' biggest hits and misses early on this year? A few of mine-

Hits: Jeff McNeil, Tylor Megill, Joe Ryan, Patrick Sandoval

Misses: Luke Voit, Michael Conforto, Alex Kirilloff, Huascar Ynoa

Anyone not listed that I drafted has already been dropped. Ain’t nobody got time for that

Looks like I'll be rolling with Brandon Drury at 3B this week, bit of a hot streak and a 7 game schedule

We get an extra 30 points in our league for complete game shutouts, and Hendricks was 1 out away from getting that for me

Wonder what’s up with O’Neil. Was super happy when I got him, then he hit a opener day bomb. Hasn’t done much since then

Finally just decided to drop O'Neill and pick up Rojas..a guy eligible for almost every position vs a guy with 40 strikeouts and only 2 home runs made it an easy decision

I have 2 in my dynasty league. I decided to keep Nasty Nestor which has really helped my pitching and Brandon Drury has helped me the last couple weeks with his career year so far. Due to injuries and under performance he has helped a ton

Borderline playoffs for me right now. Kimbrel hasn't done much for me, but I can't drop him due to his contract I signed him to 2 years ago. Same goes for Kluber and Mitch Garver. Dansby Swanson has been single handedly carrying me lately..Can't believe he was just dropped a couple weeks ago and I won him for $2

Well, decided to sell..just didn't have the offensive production. Already made 1 big trade.

I received: Albies ($1, 26th round keeper for the next 2 years, Asteury Ruiz (will be $1, 26th round if I decide to give him a contract), another 2nd round pick next year, Bryan Reynolds, Jeffrey Springs

Gave up: Castillo, Gonsolin, Arraez, Tyler Anderson


Working on dealing Kershaw/Cueto/Swanson for another top draft pick and Wander Franco's contract ($1, 26th round)

i dont know all the ins and outs of your league...but in what world would the 3 names you mentioned get a top pick let alone also Wander in the 26th round!?!?!?! lol
