Bought my first pair last week. Of course, the day after is when news hit about fakes and all that stuff. I would assume that it would only be more high-end shoes but who knows.
That being said, I got my tracking info today and it shows the shoes are coming from China. I also received the email last night to let me know they had received the shoes to authenticate them. Just a couple minutes ago, it shoes on the app that they have not only received them, they’ve been authenticated, packed and are already on their way to me. Seems fast but what do I know. So for those of you that buy from them often, is this normal? Any concern getting shoes from China? Again, I’m buying a $100 pair of shoes so I’d like to think I’d be safe. It’s all new to me so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask questions to those who are more experienced in this area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I haven't bought directly from them, but I have shoes that came from them. The sneaker spot I do a lot of shopping at has some stuff they got from stockx.
Fakes are everywhere, and the only truly safe way to have authentic shoes is to buy direct. This is impossible on most releases now, so its always a risk you take. I always check shoes I get myself once they are in hand. It isn't hard to do once you know what you are looking for.

It’s wild because I never even thought about the shoes coming from anywhere else but here in the statues. Just didn’t cross my mind that they would come from China. Hopefully everything is legit. It even seemed strange to me that the authenticator was located in China as well. The process for approval just seemed a little too fast. Who knows, this could be my first and last time buying from StockX. Hoping it ends well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Get a black light, most fake pairs you can tell on the stiching under black light. Also the smell, there shouldn't be a strong chemical smell. What kind of shoes did you order?
