As ugly as the Tigers slash lines are up and down the lineup, it’s eye popping to see Miggy batting .300 with a solid OBA. Cabrera gets it done but this team from 220-285 in worst OPS for players who have enough PA’s is ugly. I believe it was no less than 6.

Heard today he has had 3 good workout days in Lakeland, with no more symptoms. Did not hear a return day though.

Can someone ring up Elias Sports Bureau or maybe the Topps baseball card back writers and riddle me this: has an MLB team ever posted a line-up with the 2 through 5 hitters, all four of them, all hitting below the Mendoza Line - .200 - and with all four of them having enough season At Bats to qualify for leader boards?

Cuz I am pretty sure I have never seem that in a starting line-up before, ever.

I’ll take 8-5 over the last 13 games which have all been against the Twins and Guardians. Two games were postponed, so my original wish of 10-5 was almost fulfilled.

Going forward I’ll accept 1 of 3 against the Yanks since three rookies are starting and I’d like to see them take both games against Pittsburgh, but they’ve been playing well lately. It is nice for them to have two off days next week, Monday and Thursday.

I think they'll give Greenie the road trip to see more AAA pitching. If no hiccups, I'm betting he's up when they come back home against the Jays next Fri.

Yes and we should be so lucky! If the Tigers can get through June without losing complete touch of the lead, they’ll start 1 July with 19 straight games against division foes (Sox, Guardians & Royals) going into the All Star break. It’ll be an interesting 1 1/2 months.
