I don’t know why all of you are stressing. If the orders go through, they go through. If they get cancelled, guess what? There’s nothing any of us can do about it. That’s the risk you took by purchasing more than 1. (Myself included)

I'm more concerned moving forward. Especially MC related cancellations. I would like to understand why extras were cancelled this time as opposed to not being cancelled on any previous drops.

I’m not necessarily surprised they cancelled so many from the public drop, people were tagging topps on twitter and showing how many boxes they hit lol.

The MC cancels are confusing though. There are a lot of people here with multiple accounts and only a couple reporting they got clipped. I’m not sure the MC tos even says one per household?

It's not so much stressing as just trying to figure things out for the future. My cacellations maybe just saved me $20 a box with the reorders!

The TOS for 582 MC Club signups for this year did say one per household / address at release. I have zero idea about previous years.

Absolutely confusing as you state — are they just cancelling orders but not memberships. In any case, no warnings given other abuses they have and continue to allow.

Ah ok, I hadn’t read the tos, didn’t know it said 1 per address.

Some other people (not here) that reported getting that email as a result of being accused of dropshipping got orders cancelled AND membership cancelled along with a prorated portion of the membership fee refunded.

Haven’t heard anyone here say membership was cancelled, but if you don’t tell them exactly what they violated not sure they want to gamble that topps will let future drops stick when they order.

I doubt they're going through every order. Just cherry picking I'm sure and trying to send a message that they will take action if more than 1 is purchased

supposedly bowman sapphire orders are starting to ship from the public sale. I haven’t personally seen any movement on mc orders or public sale orders.

*edit* sounds like maybe not emails from topps but people are seeing activity in their fedex account with labels being created.

Eh, since they're doing this after all the orders have come in it should be pretty trivial to identify the vast majority of whatever they're targeting. It's much harder to stop things live during the sale process, but after the fact it's just a matter of figuring out what you want to fish for and querying your data for it.

Any info out there if bots were able to pick up boxes during the Thursday evening drop? No issues at all checking out and the product was in stock for awhile. Did Topps have a new strategy and if so how long will it last before the bots have a new strategy?

Topps just refunded my Bowman Sapphire box from the public sale Thursday night. Mass cancellations likely incoming for all who purchased that day. I was pretty sure these weren’t going to be fulfilled.

This is true. As of now all still sticking, but I see some say they have cancellations.

1 here from MC, 3 on first public drop and rest on 2nd drop with new accounts. They are all sticking this far. I wonder if it has to do with people who purchased their MC membership on the secondary market…

I sold 4 to other people, asked them about the shipping everything seems fine up to now, no cancellations. One hasn’t answered back yet.

All 5 of my orders were cancelled this morning from Thursday night drop. My 2 MC orders are still sticking so far. But all 7 have same address and used same credit card. Never had issue before so I didn't think Topps cared.

I really think the whole fiasco was an inventory system error and that all the boxes sold after the initial public release don't actually exist, leaving Topps no option but to cancel. Eventually Topps will learn their lesson that fixing mistakes over and over and over again is a lot more work and costly than just doing things right the first time.
