Harrison Ford Redemptions

Hello. I have a Harrison Ford redemption sitting with Topps right now. Just curious, has anyone heard or seen anything about when he will sign again?

Topps used to issue these redemption reports but seems like they haven’t done it recently. Thanks!

Figure out when the next private signing is, and then add a couple months. I doubt it will be anytime soon.

Wow, that’s how they do it? You would think they would have something a little more concrete if they put the card in the product. From what I can tell it looks like he hasn’t had a private signing in a while and nothing scheduled. Hopefully soon!

To be fair, ford was working on Indy 5 when these sets were being produced. Having said that, no idea when he will sign again

Personally I would never again send in a redemption with Topps.
I'm still waiting on a SW Julia Jones redemption since 2020. Asked for a replacement 6 months ago and nothing is done yet!

Redemptions were across the board awful. Maybe it has something to do with COVID or recent evolution of celebrity autographs but presently it is my opinion they need to be avoided at all costs -- especially Panini.

I'm on almost 4 years for Method Man to sign his ginters from 2018.

I'm in a facebook group where guys are out on the street getting his graph daily. So if you know him or any of these graphers, ask what's up about the Ginters!

Pretty lame. no idea what's going to happen with fanatics taking charge on these outstanding items.

back in 2012 I went 2+ years for a Steve Carlton to be done. Got it in 2014.

in 2013 I had a redemption for a 2010 card which in 2016 was finally replaced and never ever made (it was a signed printing plate too)

A more positive redemption story: Back in 2009 I sent a redemption in for Skeet Ulrich to Inkworks and had my auto card in 11 days.

He was there only to wish John Williams a happy 90th birthday and to tell the release date for the next Indiana Jones (6/30/2023). He was whisked away very quickly before the crowd was released. I was in the room where it happened and the interaction between Ford and Williams was one of the greatest things I will ever see!

Topps used to have an incentive to fulfill redemptions. Then the distributor mafia moved in and started moving multi millions for them using their restrictions. Now you have an entire market fueled by people that manipulate prices to justify absurd box prices.

Yes, but that was because Mark having a legal issue with Topps. Topps ended up using sticker autos for the Stellar Redemption and Hamill has never signed with Topps since.

Topps is selling out every single set without Hamill, I don't think they're bothered all that much.

Was just referring to your comment on Topps screwing the pooch. If nobody at the company cares (and with sales booming, why should they?), they didn't mess up anything. Probably saved themselves the headache of chasing him down again and again.

So happy I never asked for a replacement on my Masterworks Printing Plate Auto, sure I wish it was on plate like it was supposed to be originally, but them finally throwing the stickers on them and sending them out was a great decision as it was my biggest/best hit I've ever had, and it was a PC one to boot.

I am still waiting on 3-4 Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio redemption's with Panini from 2015 Americana. I had logged on a time or two to request substitutions, but it is a big hurdle to accomplish compared to the ease of requesting a Topps substitution.
