Did somebody compare Poole to Tobias Harris.

Are we even trying anymore?

My thoughts on tonight.

Boston SHOULD win. But will they?

1. The Celts have had trouble "stepping on the other teams throat" these playoffs (NJ excluded) The had trouble closing out the Bucks and Miami until game seven.

2. Draymond: Had the worst game of his life in game 3. Will it happen again? I doubt it. Same with the role players. Will they lay an egg two games in a row?

3. Stephs bum leg/ankle: how hampered (if at all) will he be?

my call: Golden State in a squeaker. The Celts don't seem to respond unless they have their backs against the wall. BUT all this is contingent on Steph. If he's limited, Celts win.

I mentioned that I think that is Poole's ceiling. 3rd/4th option on a championship team, average around 20 for the season, have spurts of great play while disappearing at other times. Wing who is more of a 3-point threat than a defender. etc.

Not much of a stretch I wouldn't think. Who do you see as a comp for Poole's ceiling?

GSW were outrebounded 31-47 in game 3. Ouch, tables turned. Memphis series GSW were dominant on the boards - Looney had some incredible games. GSW has to keep the rebounding close to have a good chance in game 4. Also, bench needs to be better, like duh. Fingers crossed Curry can play his typical Curry ball.

Looney has looked really solid these playoffs, but he's over matched by the athleticism of Time Lord (on a bum knee at that) and ancient Big Al Horford is outplaying him.

Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams, Jamal Crawford.

I’m a Celtics fan and I don’t think they should win based on how this post season has gone. They have lost these home games the last two rounds in this situation. Not being able to step on the throat comes back to the biggest concern for me is Tatum seeming unable or unwilling to close out games. He needs to have the Kobe style killer instinct at the end where he has the ball in his hand every possession and getting to the basket and/or the free throw line.

Draymond should be motivated after the last game but I think game 2 is an outlier and game 1 and 3 are who he is at this point in his career against a good team. He’s a zero on offense and he hasn’t even been able to facilitate consistently against the Cs and he can’t win battle for boards vs the Willams boys and Horford. The best thing he can offer is pissing off Brown enough to get him ejected.

Steph said his foot felt the same as when Smart injured him during the regular season when he missed games but obviously he’ll play through it. He can always shoot but if he can drive to the basket he’s going to get beat up every time so we’ll see how it plays out. Klay obviously isn’t the same player anymore but with that said I’ll never count out GSW simply because I think Steph and Klay still have the ability to go nuclear from 3 in any game but they probably need them both to tonight.

Ok, we are largely on the same page. I don't see Tobias Harris much different than those guys. That was the first guy I though of. I do like the Lou Williams a bit better, though.

He’s already a way better and more consistent shooter than any of those guys. Maybe they’re in the same league now but that certainly can’t be his ceiling.

Lou Will and Crawford have better career 3 pt % than Poole with a lot more attempts and Clarkson is percentage points behind Poole. Lou Will and Clarkson have the same per 36 points per game as Poole, Lou Will has better assist numbers, Crawford has worse rebound number and the rest are all about even between the 4. All 3 have slightly better defensive stats than Poole. Lou Will and Crawford are both 3 time 6th man of the year winners. The amount people want to pump up Poole who has essentially had one decent year is ridiculous. What I've seen in the Finals is a front runner who can knock down open 3 pointers when his team is up by 20 and misses everything including free throws when his team needs him.

It’s a must win for gs tonite , think Boston takes this game . Friday night game , Boston crowd will be in it and gs will not be able to counter . Klay will not shoot well , steph has the leg issue , green will be shook and off mentally again .

The one thing about these ridiculous start times is that it means the Boston crowd will be ridiculously liquored up by the tip off

I thought we are talking ceilings. Poole basically just had all those guy’s career year.

Al Horford may earn MVP by diving onto Curry's leg. Enjoy your tainted championship if it happens.

Klay: Won’t someone PLEASE think of the children?!?!?!?

Dray: Drops a s-bomb sitting next to his kid.

Horford is the last guy who would intentionally gank anyone whose name is not Giannis.
