Twitter tells me he's older than Juan Soto. Guess the pump is over before the dump even got started.

Had many arguments in the Hayes thread last year trying to explain that $200+ for a BC Auto was an absolutely terrible buy for a 24 year old with average offensive skills. There was one big pumper in there that was talking Hayes up for ages leading up to selling his Super, wonder what happened to that guy

He's going to have more RBIs than Soto by next week.

His Heritage image variation in a PSA 9 just ended at $255. You can get a raw for $60. That's nuts.

Grounded out a little while ago in PA #4. That could be it for the night, but if not stay tuned here.

Me too man. I'm really hoping we get reports on exit velocities on at bats that end in an out as well.

graded stuff [especially psa] generally heads way up before raw can catch up

Any look at his minor league stats would indicate this being the case. Actually, still think Hayes is hitting above average than what he should. When it comes to card value, no one cares about fielding.

Damn! Knew I had some serial numbers of some 1st BCA in the teens... only had /013 and /019, no #15. Feels like I used to have much better luck on hitting these occasionally.

Fangraphs still has him as a 55/60 hit tool, which is above avg to well above avg. His raw power is at a 50 [mlb average].

This was such an obvious buy it was almost too obvious. Can't believe I wasn't loading up over the last month. And I was so distracted by the Suwinksi 3 hr game that I spaced out and didn't buy any more Cruz when he got called up. (Who gets called up on a sunday right after a game...?)

It it wasn't for me getting burned 20 years ago the last time an NBA small forward sized shortstop got me excited id have some stuff. The ghost of Irvin (Joel) Guzman and all those damned 01 retrofractors looms large in my psyche.

Shouldn't take long when you're the obvious best player on the diamond within the first 3 innings of being called up.

Haha, it ain't much! - I used to be about 50/50 baseball/hoop but the last few years have been more like 70/15/15 Hoop/baseball/other.

Pretty sure the 5 BC Autos [4 Refractor, 1 Purple] I have of him were bought in 2017 or 2018.

1st - you are telling your age.
2nd - Irvin/Joel was a stud
3rd - he has more prospect/RCs than anyone in the history of baseball
