Default Anyone want to sell 1 Display case?

I was supposed to get 1 display case from a buddy. But he sold it to someone else for more money. I’m looking at moving a bunch of high end Yankees & Giants. And would need 1 case to display them in. I’m looking for a dealer who have a big booth or multiple tables to see if they would sell me a place on 1 of their tables so I can put a display case down for some of my high end Giants & Yankees.

Your best bet is to buy one from a dealer at a smaller show who is selling lower end cards. These are very difficult and expensive to mail for an average person. I got all 3 of mine in person at either shows or a flea market.

The easiest way is to just buy a new one online but that’s pricey

Hello,

No I have display cases. I’m trying to see if someone getting a table would sell 1 display case.

Are you trying to say that you are looking for a dealer who has a booth, who would let you use part of his booth space that is large enough for you to use it for your own display case? You want to put your display case in his booth.

Correct?

Yes that’s correct. I’ll pay for access to put 1 display case on their table. Just have too much to walk around. I was supposed to get a spot on a buddies table. But he sold it to someone else. He told me $1,000 for the spot.

Unfortunately for you, that's about what you should expect to pay for space for 1 showcase. Sorry.

Yeah not happy about it. Really messed up my plans bad. Plus I have a big card I need to bring up to go up for auction. If I didn’t have to do that I wouldn’t go. Cause it’s not looking like I’m getting a spot at someone’s table.

Just go to all the Trade Night's. If the cards are that great, they will sell.

For anyone planning on just doing trade night type activity, I'd just keep in mind that I highly doubt Casinos will allow what happened last year at the Loew's hotel.

Just something to think about when planning your hotel (which I would hope you've already booked).

Every casino has convention space. Now if you mean an unofficial gathering in a lobby/common area then I'm sure there are food court / lounges that can be used (assuming you are paying customers). Casino security is generally not going to bother anyone as long as they are not underage in an area they aren't allowed.

Pretty sure I read the 'official' trade night is being held at the convention center this year.

Anyone today? Getting kind of desperate. To the point I don’t even want to go now. If I wasn’t dropping off a card for Auction I would probably just skip this one and go next year.

I am really feeling badly for you. I'm sorry your buddy pulled the tablecloth out from under you, but I hope you don't let that ruin your experience. I think you will have just as much, if not more, luck selling high end NY stuff around the room. There will be plenty of dealers there looking to buy high end Yankees and Giants, if you are really looking to move them.

yeah that is what I’m going to have to do. I was hoping for a display case to show my Jeter off before it goes to auction.
