He just played a 78-game season... Ja has never eclipsed 67.

And if it's going to happen, getting surgery at the end of June is much better than it happening in camp or pre-season.

4 months puts him at the end of October, ie - when the season begins.

Wouldn't say I agree with that. He's really only had two major injuries in his career. He got banged up a good bit this year and every game he missed this season was more of a maintenance/rest management DNP instead of a legitimate injury.

Sure the meniscus and now the stress fracture are unfortunate injuries, but someone being made of glass to me seems more like the AD type where the dude just gets hurt stepping onto the court or getting out of bed. I surely hope he can be more like the superhuman Giannis type where his leg can almost snap off backwards and then he plays two games later with an "MCL strain". Fingers crossed because the Grizz are so fun to watch!

I hope you're right. Just constantly feels like two steps forward, one step back with him.

That I can agree with. He can be so frustrating to watch sometimes. He has so much potential and he seems to be his own biggest enemy about 90% of the time.

If he can put it all together he’s at worst a 20 and 10 guy while being a top 3 defender, floor stretching big, and matchup nightmare.

Just depends on when or if he puts his complete game together.
