RC sales got a nice bump from this. His FWA is going for more than twice what it was just a few days ago. I had one up at a high price from last year that I had forgotten about and it sold for full BIN.

Well, Vancouver took defenseman Elias Pettersson with their 3rd round pick, so will be a great stat line moving forward.

At least the Canucks made up for that by selecting Elias Pettersson...

Washington got the steal of the draft with Ivan Miroshnichenko.

Watching his tape I don't really get how he didn't have a top 10 projection.

Must be the war concerns with some of the Russians because the skill level is clearly so high with him.

Or the cancer issues.

Great talent but huge red flags.

Haha, that's great. I hope defenseman Elias Petterson makes it, would love to see that.

I was watching live and I think the female commentator said he was the most talented player in the entire draft. Think that, yes, it's the Russia concerns and his health issues as he's recovering from cancer (non-Hodgkins lymphoma).

Yep. He was a top 5-10 guy before his diagnosis.

It would be nice to see him in some Draft Day Marks set.

Happy the Jets took a risk with Brad Lambert at #30. Sounds like he will play in the WHL next year.

I agree. Great pick. You can't teach skating like that. Worth a gamble with pick 30
