Which looks nicer and they always have coupons on top.

I don't know why anyone would get those Megas on Target. Unless they are guaranteed an auto every 2 boxes or something.

I agree with this. Got a couple of boxes for $200 and enjoyed it. Autos are light years better than Prizm and this rookie class is much better than last year (esp if we pretend the RC on Martinelli is accurate). Hits of note were Broja and Martinelli Red Mosaic, Ivan Toney /49, and Mason Mount Auto (redemption)

Lack of star power for sure. Martinelli is for sure a Topps Merlin rookie in 20-21 but wasn't in Panini products until 21-22 and carries the magic RC. But it's not an awful class - just really needs a Broja or Olisse or Martinelli or Gelhardt to make a jump

Martinelli played 22 games in 2020-21 and got a RC in Merlin, his first rookie card. That is his rookie card, end of.

Panini can do what they like, but anything from the 21-22 season isn't a rookie. His first Panini hobby release sure (along with Donruss).

This is ignoring completely his 2019-20 Match Attax and Adrenalyn, of course.

Interesting that you would forget the actual most successful rookie from the 20-21 class which is Bowen. 4 days younger than Raphinha although both are older for rookies even when they came out.

Out of the last two years I think Broja is the guy who could explode especially if Chelsea offload Lukaku and allow him to be the replacement. Obviously Kai would get a lot of minutes but pretty similar output while Broja played for an inferior club.

Mbeumo for Brentford is probably a decent shout as well as I could see him as a good player to be speculative on if someone wanted (Im assuming he doesnt sell for much).

I don't think anyone has forgotten Bowen per se, just he isn't as good as Raph - who has gone on to pick up 7 Brazil caps and 3 goals in his "rookie season" and Kalvin Philips became an integral part of the England set-up, racked up 19 caps and reached a major international final out of the other older "rookies". (Bamford and Watkins also picked up caps)

Bowen finished 6th & 7th with West Ham, and is yet to win a cap.

Overpriced for both.

Megas not worth it at 50, I picked up a case at under 115 a box and some are going cheaper than that.

Thanks for the insight, trying avoid buying football and I broke so many boxes of EPL prizm when it came out but what a let down..really want to break more soccer.

Wait until the price drops (it will). Not only is it pretty "meh" this year, the QC on Mosaic is absolutely utterly terrible.

No problem. I think we are close to the bottom on this, if you see Hobby at 100 or Megas at 35, jump on it. I don't think it'll get (much) lower than that.

After this was posted, I grabbed 8 for 37 shipped (taxes blow)

Would say it's a win, especially since I enjoy ripping Mosaic.

Should have them Saturday I think.
