I agree! Vick had it all going for him, after the dog thing he was never really able to shake off the tarnished rep in the eyes of the general public.

I'll be dammed.
He was a dog killer and still got the cushy gig after football. Just goes to show how big of a star he was.

Or goes to show own up to your wrong doings, do the time and after 20 years you should be able to move on past it....

Antonio Brown -
Although not sure its 100% his fault and Vontaze Burfict deserves some of the credit for scrambling AB's brain. |

Idk. Body slamming dogs onto concrete, drowning them in a swimming pool, electrocuting them to death, etc. seems like an evil deranged tic in the brain that’s unlikely to ever be completely rewired. Oh and the whole spreading Herpes to women thing. His brother is a POS as well so it likely runs in the family.

i've got a couple of players:
Kordell Stewart- so stubborn about playing QB when he was a better athlete. he was decent, but he's pretty much been forgotten, but for those of us that were around in 1995, we remember how big of a fuss he was, playing WR, RB, Punter, and QB...Slash. he could have been a heck of a player for a long time, but no, he wanted to play QB. Gabriel Rivera- Senior Sack....taken by Pittsburgh in 1983, was supposed to be the player that was going to rebuild the Steel Curtain defense, got drunk, crashed, and was paralyzed. He was drafted ahead of Dan Marino Josh Gordon Aldon Smith- had 42 sacks i believe in his first 43 games...then the problems started Jamarcus Russell- a complete bust, who years later, blames the Raiders.... ![]() and the first name that always stuck out to me... ![]() i'll always remember Alvin Harper as the first real free agent bust, simply because he left the back-2-back champs for crappy Tampa and their money, and then simply disappeared. Harper was on his way to becoming what John Taylor was to the 49ers, quite possibly one of the best #2 WRs of all-time, and he threw it all away. as a 49ers fan, i was happy to see him leave Dallas, but as a football fan, i'll never forget that.

I feel like Ricky gets too much flack. He was hurting like Luck, and was self medicating. He came back and was serviceable. I feel like Ricky deserves some recognition for the good career he had, while it wasn’t as great as he could have been- he was spent. Wandstadt ran him into the ground literally. That coupled w his social anxiety and he did pretty good for himself post “retirement”
My favorite quote: Reporter: Ricky; how did you test positive? Ricky: I got high and forgot I wasn’t supposed to get high. That and his quote for speeding in his car : I like to go fast.
