Instead, I went to the flea market today. Sold and traded some pokemon. Ended up with cash and a Kobe Topps PSA 7 rookie. Then I bought some raw Kobe rookies for $5 each and some Rui Hachimura stuff because I can't stop buying it.

Agreed they are playing with more heart than the team I root for at the present time. The whole landscape in the AL east could be completely different in a couple of years.

I just assumed they’d be the bottom dweller again this year. But good for them for making a mid season run. Don’t know many of their players. Mullins and their closer Lopez are on my fantasy team. But don’t see much talent on their team.

They actually have some talent and other than Mancini a lot of them are young. I didn’t think they would be good this year but eventually when you get high draft picks year after year some start paying off, it is how the Astros became the team they are today. When your fanbase doesn’t expect anything you can suck year after year to be good in the future. The Yankees could never use that strategy as they are not the only New York team and fans would go elsewhere.

I expect them to fade but they’re only 3.5 back of a wild card spot. That would be huge for them. Has to feel good to not be out of it after 60 games like they usually are.
