My prediction for Nats/Soto/The Hobby:


-Nationals decide to play the long game
-Trade Away Soto
-Get prospects in return
-The hobby sells off their Soto PC
-I buy more Soto
-Juan Soto brings new team to World Series victory
-Juan soto is worth $500,000,000
-#SotoHasAlwaysLovedDC
-Nationals re-sign Soto to longer term contract once free agent with new owners.
-the hobby realizes they should have never sold Soto.
-Soto now leads new prospects to his 3rd World Series

Haha well since you live here and love Soto I figured you were a Nats guy!

The Nationals have been terrible with Bell and Soto and now without both of them...eek.

Looking at the padres lefties hitter splits, Soto will be lucky to hit .240 at home.

Huh?

You're saying that because other left handed hitters on the Padres aren't hitting well, that means Soto won't hit well?

How Soto performs will determine his career trajectory from now on. Continue to be mediocre, or perform with every strategic advantage.

I'm moving some of mine. Not really keen on waiting 2 1/2 years hoping for him to become a Yankee or Dodger for value sake.
