Initial Prizm NFL blaster drop Target wasn’t cancelling multiple orders until 27 blasters were ordered per account and the links were live for roughly half a day if I remember correctly

On second glance at the boards seems like Optic was only live for 1 hour based on when the first person posted until someone said sold out. At a limit of 3 per account and only being live for an hour either bot users with multiple accounts will make up for a much higher % of all orders processed or quantities have to be substantially lower than the initial Prizm NFL blaster drop

Passed on the Optic. Can't get myself to pay $30 for non-numbered cards and a tiny chance at a Downtown.

Unless the bot overlords AI has been upgraded to avoid overprinted trash, I'd say it's a large drop. My hunch is all the sneakerheads renting these bots have not been able to maintain the payments so there are possibly much fewer bots lining up to gobble product.

If you compare the value of blasters to hobby box on a per card basis, then these are a tremendously good value.

There were ways around the 3 limit per account. Adding an extra product(s) to the order that was more than the 3 blasters cost and then canceling those on the order once it went through allowed you to get more than 3.

I don't understand the hype for 2021 Optic blasters lol.

Sure I would like one, but dang Prizm blasters are barely selling for like $5 above MSRP. Optic sure aren't selling for that much more either.

Maybe after experiencing fruitless attempts to grab retail product the past few years people are grabbing what they can.

I know I am to a certain extent.

I meant, more surprised it's sold out and looks to be botted. Prizm stood up for a long time, Optic was gone in less than an hour

I think that's a big driver of this. People the last couple years have so much FOMO for Target drops they grab first ask questions later. Then dump all their product once they realize there isn't any margin left.

There is plenty of margin left you have to hold for a couple of years and these will be over $100-200 people have no patience.

Are you talking to open, or to flip?

Optic are a lot of fun to open. 3 pink holo (all rookies), I think a holo rookie, and then some base rookies. And a long shot chance at a downtown.

If you're talking to flip, then these won't be that big of a deal. Blasters will be $40 (maybe less) within 10ish days.

I'm looking forward to opening some Optic blasters.

Sorry, didn't see this reply before I quoted your earlier post.

This was to be expected IMO. Prizm blasters suck. Optic blasters do not. I was expecting them to only last 20-30 minutes to be honest.

Mosaic football retail was probably the best release of the year. Decent price (especially compared to hobby), two hittable chase parallels (genesis and honeycomb), and the chance to hit rare-ish case hit inserts. Nothing from Panini even comes remotely close to Mosaic football this year.
