Judge is Superman to many young baseball fans of the Yankees. If he breaks the record and the Yankees win a championship with Judge leading them...there will be a Netflix special about him in about 10 years

I really hope the Yankees resign him. It’s not like they can’t afford to. I hate to see teams with massive revenue acting like they’re poor (I’m looking at you, Red Sox!).

I remember in 98, Big Mac 85 Topps RCs were going insane. That year was special. Would hope #ALLRISE gets a huge bump by beating out 62, but he does have a lot more "rookies" compared to Mac.

You make the man a Yankee for life especially if he breaks the record. Most particularly if they win the WS this year. Everyone else is expendable in my opinion. It makes a big difference with "Drafted" in the acquisition spot.

True, but I do think we’re in a different era of collecting though. We have a lot more “player collectors” these days. Guys who want all the different Judge/Acuna/Soto/etc RCs they can get. I’m a Jazz Chisholm collector and I love all the variety out there. Back in the 80’s you had very few RC options, with no refractors or parallels (which is partially why errors cards were such a thing).

Yep those platinum blacks are impossible. I scooped a Bellinger PSA 10 last year. I have been looking for a Judge one. This was the first thing that got me back into cards, so will always have a special spot in my collection.

Completely forgot about the makeup series against the Rangers at the end of the season.

4 games against the Rangers in Texas, likely against AAA pitching. Hope that roof is open and wind is blowing out, can be like a jet stream.

Hoping for an exciting end to the regular season.
