I have the 2 cards shown, the signatures look different to me but both are supposedly authentic.

Yeah, one is earlier. Also, his sig is normally pretty "tall"...if that makes sense, so on that second one, he is shrinking it down to fit the sticker.

One autograph looks like it was for a signing, and he took his time signing and wasn't constrained on space. The other auto looks like they locked Bird in a room and made him sign 1000 stickers and fit his autograph into a tight space. A lot of athletes have different signatures when the have to sign stickers. Plus, over 20, 30 years, autos can change. I don't see an issue here personally.

I think that's the only thing that makes the sticker auto a little funky. Bird tends to sign a larger auto.

The left definitely looks a bit odd for a Bird auto. What threw me off more than the bottom left of the L is the second "r" in Larry, which is almost never there. However, the Bird looks spot on and the pen flow and flourishes look consistent enough with all other Bird autos I've seen, so I don't have a hard time believing it is real with JSA's AOK.

If I can piggyback with a very similar question, any chance this one is real?

Had it since 1990 and always assumed no, but held onto it in case.

I doubt this is authentic, unfortunately. The B and d in Bird are very different from any Bird auto I've ever seen.

I got it through the mail in 1990. Sent him a drawing when I was a kid. But figured there was a 0% chance he was actually signing TTM then (or ever).

And yeah I couldn’t find any authenticated examples where the B and D look like that.

Even so, I have a hard time tossing it after owning it so long! To the base card box it goes.
