Actually, he was one of the most exciting QB's ever and was indeed on that path had he chosen a legal hobby. He basically missed 3 years of his prime that probably cost him about 800 rushing yards per season and probably an MVP in there somewhere. He's still hobby good but definitely cost him big time.

That’s sad and pathetic. Thugs fighting and shooting someone at a kids football game.

They’ll say it was self defense but no chance anyone will see it that way. A group attacking a guy and him defending himself with what looks like a first down stick. Shooter should get life minimum and the others involved in the fight should get jail time as well including Aqib. His actions led to the death of a man.

I was shocked when Fox gave him that gig given his umm character issues including shooting other people and actually shooting himself as well. Oh and let’s not forget when he beat up a taxi driver. Yeah I mean if he'd had those prime years and averaged what he was in the couple years prior to and after the suspension, he'd be in roughly the top 50 all time in rushing and passing, I think they'd have have found a place for him in the HOF with that resume.

The term “gang member” is problematic and racist. The correct term is “proud serving member of a neighborhood clique”
