SGC $30 at 25 days. Is actually $30 at 1-2 days. At least that has been my experience with my last few orders.

SGC is definitely returning stuff super fast. I have read people have cards checked in one day. Graded and shipped the next day. Is that becasue they are more efficient or the fact they are not getting the number of submissions they use to get before PSS are-opened?

There's a reason for those prices. No one is going to send a $100k card to CSG to save a few bucks on grading because it will sell for half of it's PSA counterpart.
The only one that might make sense for higher end is vintage and SGC. |

Sent a 2 card, walk through ($600 per) order to PSA on 8/8/22. The package arrived and the tracking was recognized in their system the following day on 8/9/22.
As of today nothing has populated in "My Orders." Spoke with a PSA representative last week who said they are behind on logging in orders as a result of the National.

The only reason really is because the market has been trained to think PSA is the best. It is all a game of smoke and mirrors, but that is the game as it stands today. All of us who grade do some degree of flipping and PSA slabs are the most liquid. I can assure you when CSG is viewed more favorably, best slabs on the market, things will change, but for now, PSA is king, as BGS use to be.

They found out it incorrectly went to the Value pile and remains in Step 1. Estimate it may move next week (was 'received'8/8 and Value at the time was through 8/3) but we will see. |

Express order arriving 8/5 logged 8/13 is now in QA2. Slower than pre show but I meets my expectations and happy with service. Had zero realistic expectations for a faster TA knowing they are going through tens of thousands of new packages in a 4-5 day stretch.
SGC is beating PSAs TAs….because they opened dozens/hundreds of packages by comparison. Easier to triage… Expectations guys, expectations

CSG's bulk is $15 per card and the turnaround time is realistically 2-3 weeks. They are faster than what is listed on their website.

So I'm like a total of almost a month now getting resolution on 7 cards they damaged from my initial 36 card reholder. Their slow response to resolving their mistake is not impressing me. |

I'm very suspicious of their customer service, esp when it comes to things like this^. It almost feels as if they're undermining your order every time they receive an email regarding an outstanding order or shipment update from you. I've heard this multiple times now. They really do have great slabs but I'm a little concerned ab their politics. |

That would be my guess. Still sending in to SGC here mostly just happy with the quick turnaround time and good service. Plus I am mostly just slabbing stuff I don't intend to sell immediately, so I am more than happy with SGC there.

I would say you are right, which shows a lot of collectors prefer PSA, ESPECIALLY at $18 vs $30, regardless of the TAT. They are looking over their shoulder at CSG when it comes to submissions, but maybe they are happy at the 3.5-4K per day grading. That is almost $100K per day. I am sure before the PSA shutdown they were not doing that many cards.
