They are selling direct with no boxes.
Prices are a joke like he's already a legend when he losses everything. So lame. I thought they were doing a whole set. |

From my understanding, they are doing these releases player by player. I'm not sure I understand why base cards need to be $42/95, but I guess we'll see how the market reacts. From everyone here, it seems like it's a pass.

Even at half these prices you are better off buying Nadal, Federer, Novak, Agassi, McEnroe, etc. cards. I hope they sit and sit and we get a deep discount.

Dumb money is not completely gone yet. Plus rookies sell higher than established stars in other sports. I'll wait for other players. |

Personally, I think the numbered base cards are not too badly priced. Limited amount of tennis sets out there as it is, the kid is somewhat proven at an extremely young age. It's a long hold anyways. I'll take 1 numbered Alcaraz at $42 over 61 sets with different Trevor Lawrence numbered rookie cards that cost way more...

I had a feeling these cards were going to priced to the moon after NetPro was pumping recent high-end auctions in the lead up to this drop, but I didn't think they were going to be THAT high. Panini Instant puts up 1/1 autos of newly drafted players for less than the price of an Alcaraz jersey card /100. Definitely a pass for now.

Given the relatively low supply, the prices seem fine. I think people here who usually focus on other sports are underestimating the popularity and global reach of tennis. Signing deals with these stars can’t possibly be cheap. Otherwise you’d see tennis cards popping up all over the place. If Carlos does as well as expected in the US Open, these initial reactions won’t age well.

Providing that the QC is decent, I think $42 for an /2000 rookie card isn't bad at all. It's just a shame they took a shortcut and didn't serial # these properly. As for the RPA and on card auto's they're priced ridiculously, especially when you can pickup a slabbed on card Federer signed rookie card for around $200.
