Hey guys I’ve just been going through my collection and found an Ivan Rodriguez Rookie card and it looks like it’s on a whiter stock than others. Does anyone have a way to identify if it’s a Tiffany or not I’ve tried to compare it to some Graded cards and it’s hard for me to tell a difference. I’d appreciate any help.

Yeah I don’t have it in hand and it’s kinda tough to do from my phone I’ll get a pic uploaded tonight thanks though. The website kinda helps I just have to see if it’s glossy.

Most often, if you are asking if it is a Tiffany, then it is not a Tiffany. 1991 are very difficult to identify as they look the same in pics to the traded set versions. With Topps releasing 1991 traded in wax pack form with gray backs it leads many collectors to believe that their base Topps traded from a set must be a Tiffany card because of the white back.

Typically with Tiffany, if you have to ask, it’s not. All should have noticeably glossy fronts, and darker, richer background coloring on the back
