i think “free” boxes could easily be over 1000. a lot of mc orders got double shipped, and i’ve heard of individual people that got 100 boxes shipped after they were refunded from the public sale.

Doubtful that would make a dent in pricing. It's silly to think anyone is going to have a fire sale or actually give away their boxes. And it should go without saying that the more boxes a customer was shipped, the more likely they won't remain free but at this point it's just preaching to deaf ears.

I wasn’t suggesting anything about future pricing, just that the “free” boxes are way more than a couple hundred here or there.

Haha... I truly haven't been opening much MLB lately. Mostly soccer and hitting some bangers in soccer. Glad to hear they were better than I initially thought

So my boxes were refunded, but label was created out of pompano beach fl.... just recently was movement from Pompano Beach, Osceola, Orlando, and now this morning back to pompano and was just charged 650.81 again.

Ok, so maybe they are starting the re-charging process. Did you buy straight from credit card? I made all purchases through paypal.

All depends on what percentage of the print run was "free." Bot guys fall all over themselves undercutting each other when they've actually paid for products. Safe to assume that would be exacerbated if their inventory is "free." I have no idea how much botters participated in the public release and how successful they were. Obviously, also depends on whether Topps seeks payment or not. Lots of unknowns.

yeah general soccer releases without top rookie to chase will do about that here in the US. The Merlin name is a pretty big hobby name accross the pond. I'd like to buy a box or 2, but the estimated shipping has me thinking to try to pick it up elsewhere, or hope I find some retail. I also wonder if they will have Lite boxes as I could care less about paying up for a garanteed auto?
