The official chase for 61 MLB all time homerun record

Just a wonderful thread to discuss all things related to Judges on pace record setting season. With 58 and 59 yesterday he is in a great spot to pass the record of 61 and has a good shot at the triple crown. What an amazing season for all fans of the true single season homerun record I for one never thought it would be passed here's to hoping.

I think we've come to the point where if he thought he'd done something wrong he would have admitted it. His apology did not provide that. You can tell he wanted to skewer the testing system but he probably couldn't for whatever reason.

I agree that MANY people would consider him the single season HR king if he hits #62. I would. He'd be the first one to do it whose head didn't inflate 2 hat sizes after age 35 and then deflate 2 hat sizes after retirement.

It doesn't but it turns fly outs into home runs. If a player needs to dope, then any "records" they set should never count. That is what legitimate sports do.

I don't care if you or anyone else does. Hitting a Baseball in the first place IMO is the toughest sporting act in the world to do. You mean to tell me using a steroid (or adderall or whatever you're cheating with) suddenly is the big difference in being able to do that?

Again it turns a really good power hitter into a robot looking freakazoid with unnatural power. The same way it turns regular strongman and bodybuilders into the ridiculous freaks you see in competition. Looking up steroid effects on the human body its really cool to use the internet to look things up.
