I’m amazed by how you can’t understand that what I’m saying is if box prices were as low as $150, you’d still likely be losing money hand over fist. I’m not saying they are going to $150, we all know that it’ll be priced ridiculously similar to Spider-Man Metal. Can’t wait for people to open this and set sky high buy it now prices on their PMGs that’ll never be bought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Long story short I more than likely won't buy any of this product because it will never hit $150 or less cause the big boys and all these damn breakers won't allow it to....I quit busting wax years ago and it was the best financial move i ever made....I buy singles and unopened boxes/cases and with this flood of unopened product being made mainly singles other than my Montgomery Club exclusive boxes As far as this thread being a pump thread like Prizm i don't see that at all and i firsthand don't pump anything.....This thread was fine and dandy until you came in with all that negative talk....Do you and that clown whose name i won't mention have to crap on every thread possible?.....Cheer up..Be Happy! |

LOL.....I know how it works.....And i laugh at people like you that claim to always be right about everything and are never wrong....Would you like a participation trophy for your efforts?
And one last time....When it gets to $150 let me know....I'll be waiting I've said my peace.....Have a great weekend and cheer up...Things will get better! |

Anyone who thinks that PMGs are the "modern day grails" and at the same time doesn't understand the difference between 1997 PMGs and the ones printed this year, is pretty ignorant as far as cards go.
1997 PMGs with the Greens especially is so far ahead of its time. If you want to go back and pick out the rarest serial #'d cool cards, this is probably where you start. But this set really only picked up steam big time in the past 5-6 years. 1997 Totally Certified Golds /30 always sold pretty much in lock step with Greens /15, and even for years sold for quite a bit less (Corey Dillon, Warrick Dunn I can remember clearly). So calling these cards grails considering whats happened in recent history is fine and all but putting them as some sort of hobby staple that everyone needs is extremely nearsighted. Also, if it were the case that PMGs just need to sell amazing because well, they are PMGs, go look at the Greens /10 from 2007-08 Basketball. You have all of the mega stars in that set. Not only did that set NEVER sell (kinda debunking the whole "grail" thing, considering upon release it was seen as an albatross), even with it's shooting to the moon over the past few seasons you can still get many Greens /10 for under $100 and Stars for around $1000. |

I’m just here for the fallout from people buying this at $500 a box and getting $10 in cards. Again, this product SHOULD be $150 or so a box and even then it’s a stretch in terms of making it a decent gamble. Most of the WWE Select golds are going for under $100. People just don’t seem to realize that the market is going through a correction right now and that wax prices still haven’t caught up to modern day reality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Oh it's you again.....Blowouts favorite troll!
I laugh at people like you that cry and complain about everything Especially listening to you piss and moan in the Target and 582 thread about how you are only able to get 3 of something while bots buy 100's and thousands of something.....It's better than going to the movies! Continue to do it.....We all get a kick out of you making an a** out of yourself

If you want to say you don't like me because I complain and call out bs that's fine. It's another thing when you act like an obnoxious imbecile in every post. You act like it's my fault for what you post. Love to hear how I'm "making an a**" out of myself by complaining about bots screwing over all us normal buyers. Again if you and others don't like me that's fine. If I say something dumb, like you seem to do quite often, call me out on it. Complaining about bots isn't dumb. If enough people complained or stopped buying from them maybe something would get done about it. If no one complains or cares it will never end. Last edited by mossoholic; 09-25-2022 at 12:02 AM. Meh, I’m a huge AEW fan, and I’ll pass at 250 a box, I’ll probably buy a ton singles after e-pack comes out though. I’ve collected since the 80’s and while I always liked the PMG’s I honestly have always preferred the Essential Credentials to the PMG’s. I did collect a bunch of red PMG’s of the hockey releases that came out later, since they were unpopular at the time of release, I was super happy to unload them at great prices during the boom last year. I feel like there has been a big push to hype up any PMG recently but I honestly thought it was all hype from people that could make money from it, not real interest but that was just my opinion. The 97’s have some significance but beyond that I don’t see the appeal at the high prices these may go for, for $10-$20 on reds and a few hundred for greens I could understand, but any more than that just seems frothy.

Taking pre-orders on card sets that don't even have a release date is a little shady to me, but if people want to do it then more power to them. I don't think $250 is necessarily a bad price (too high for an AEW product but not insanely high) but pre-ordering something so far in advance seems silly since most places don't give refunds or price adjustments on pre-orders. So if AEW gets less popular or the card market as a whole slips, you are stuck.
