True words. 1 guy made statements, but not even smart enough to look into is statements. Not everyone's a thinker. Check them DNA cards out now! Looks like Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Garth Brooks, bunch others came out. Some def sold for over 1k each. Some as low as $40ish. And you can change the subject any time but the simple topic was: 'There is a market for dna hair cards and there are people that collect them." What backs that statement up is the following: HA came out with yet another series of these cards. You get 3 cards per pack and packs went for between $450-$500 and guess what??? People bought them! Which also means the company producing them had information that there was a fan base large enough and demand large enough for DNA Hair cards. Facts! How else do we know that people bought the packs for $450-500ish... because eBay shows tons of the cards for sale, as singles, which ONLY came in packs of 3 cards. Facts. Facts: Lowest end hair card went for about $40ish dollars and most for a single went for around $1200ish. All the stupid kid talk,, pube hair, serial killer blah blah.. just not facts and talk from those not knowing what they're talking about. Also, people love to gamble. many want to BUY a $450ish dollar pack of cards and take that RISK, that GAMBLE. Nobody factored that in, instead just talked #@#@#@#@ over a few yrs in the forum.

So what are you telling us... Do you say anything with any point. There wasnt an issue. The point was, there is a market for dna hair cards. You dont have to like them. No biggy. You collect what you like. Im good with that. But so many trashed it and facts on eBay been showing cards go for $40 - $1200ish dollars. So the brain would say, if card sells for $1200, there must be some kind of demand and interest in this. Didnt say you have to like it. Just shared what was out there.

Oh, this one beats them all out. 2009 Upper Deck Afleet Alex dna horse hair card, NOT graded, sold this month for $342... Unreal. Owner 1st had it listed at $185 buy now, I offered half. As a joke owner then lists it for $450ish buy now or best offer... Sells for $342 ungraded.

Worst case - you'll have seen some history and gone onward. Instead, we have this going on... I enjoy the history of cards. These dna cards led me to learning 'Sting' the wrestler, in 2012ish a card company made a few relic 'Sting face paint worn' cards. Super rare, only a few made. Research and posts lead to me finding one in France.

Ok, I'll bite.

Do ANY of these card companies provide provenance of the hair included in these cards? Where did they get them? How can we trust that it's not a dog hair or someone's pubic hair?

I admittedly do not have any hair cards, but I am an active user of the term, "bruh."

This guy just can't use it right. Even through text, it just comes across wrong.

I also can't explain the joy that I got from going through this thread for the first time today.

And your question is what got me 1st researching these cards etc. Before people collected autographs, thry collected hair. If you died, they gave your haur out at funerals.. White house barbers saved hairs etc i didnt knoe sny of this until allen and ginter came out with the cards. Poe us extreamly rare and hardest to find. I enjoyed the history of all the different brands that make dna hair cards over the yrs. Just a fun hobby researching. 🤷#@♂️
