Assuming print run isn't through the roof, HHN will be the best bet. Should be actions and chrome variations of all the big name RCs, plus maybe some longshot throwbacks.
If you only include Wander, Pristine was an incredibly fun rip...and absolutely loaded with color/low numbered stuff. It got pricy (justifiably so), but if you got in when it was less than $3,000 a case you wouldn't be too disappointed. It wasn't made in high quantity, very unusual for a 2019+ Topps product. |

As usual, depending on checklist and buy- in price, 2022 bowman draft is always a strong candidate.
It will likely come out in 2023, however. |

Like as in they don't have a date or they are just not going to have it? It's such a good product and is already something that spurred a frenzy for a base card of a third year player. Why the hell would they drop this? |

At least that's being true to the original when they remake the 1971 set. I think part of the charm with Heritage is the condition sensitivity. 73 with the black back is of course going to be pretty tough. But then not everything getting a 10 actually gives 10 grades some meaning.

I looked at HHN sales on eBay and it seems like a lot of low-end cards.
Need to look into Topps Fire later. Hoping that SCC doesn't get canned, would be weird if it did. FF still leading the pack but I suppose there's some time left in 2022 for a possible surprise. |

I'd say most boxes are sub $50 in contents, easily. |

So far, for me the best card design (which is all I care about) is 2022 Tribute base.
Best auto set so far is the Clearly Authentic "1955" autos, although the 1988 Topps Big autos in Archives will give them a run for their money depending on the checklist. 2022 Finest Flashbacks features a mediocre mid 90's design (i.e. 1995 Finest) and an utterly ordinary checklist. |

Just out of curiosity, what were some of your numbered hits?
I didn't post my boxes, but I did 9 and nothing major but hit a lot of stuff that moves. I will likely be close to breaking even at <$220/box while keeping the rookies to grade/hold. Lowest was a Trea Turner /5, best card was probably a Vlad Gold Auto.

EDIT: sorry, the Yordan was actually a Gold /50, not Prism It was a disgraceful product for me. There are just way too many nobody's on the checklist vs. number of parallels per box. Last edited by Bob Ross; 09-26-2022 at 02:16 PM. |

I’ve enjoyed FF this year, and have bought a total of 6 boxes- each one at random. While every one wasn’t a winner, I agree it was a very fun rip. I just listed on eBay (or have already sold) most of the notable hits and should be able to recoup most of my costs while keeping all the base cards, so I’m in the camp of believing that product holds pretty good value.
The notable hits for mine: 2 Autos- Ripken /25 and Salvador Perez /15 Superfractor- Manny Machado 2 Protector Refractors /10- Mookie Betts and Tim Anderson 3 Black Refractors /25- Mookie was the best one 5 Gold Refractors /50- Pete Alonso was the best one 6 base refractors + 2 SP refractors (Bo and Ichiro) 2 JRod, 3 Witt, 3 Wander |

The resale value is definitely not there for 2022 Finest Flashbacks for the price of the boxes.

FF is so far been easily best value for me.
2 Boxes bought. Griffey SP Refractor, Hernadez Auto, and multiple copies of most of the top rookies (Julio, wander, Cruz, Witt). Shoulders above anything else I've been in on. I guess a lagging second place would be the 3D packs, super easy to with the number of rookies in it. |

Yeah, case in point. Most posts are just the ones with above average boxes and up.
I'm done with this product. Rest of the boxes will be sold sealed for break even. It's the best thing to do. |

I basically only buy singles. And FF is the absolute best to do just that. Not a ton of hits and like I got Jazz prism from last year for under $50 and got a Mookie /15 rose gold this year for $50. If I pulled those two cards, it would be two successful boxes relatively. And neither sell for that much.
