Their message came off kinda wrong. Leaf kinda forgot: it’s unlicensed. Doesn’t matter if NIL or not. No one is going crazy over non licensed autos. Look at Haaland. Can get his autos for $300 or so in Leaf. They begin close to $1k for topps.

A nice thing for collectors/consumers, but the angry, condescending, passive aggressive e-mail seems a bit unnecessary.

Yea the tone of the email wasn't good. Sending an email to consumers, calling consumers lazy, doesn't send a great message. And that's coming from someone that generally likes Leaf and does buy their products sometimes.

What is more exclusive: A) a 1 of 1 peacock from Leaf Signature (or any of the other 75 1/1 variations from that product); or B) a 1 of 1 after-market slabbed proof from Metal that was only created because nobody is buying Leaf products and Leaf is trying to invent value?

Leaf really does not seem to understand the concept of 1 of 1.

It sounds to me like LEAF don't understand the consumer, not the other way around. Nobody wants cards that look like they have been created on Kais Power Goo by blind chimpanzees, nobody wants airbrushed soccer jerseys and nobody wants autos of under-age kids that will most likely be playing in the Irish league in a few years.

I'd email them back and tell him to go f**k himself.

What does he know about soccer?

If employees aren't allowed to buy Leaf products, would be curious to know where this person is buying his Leaf products.
