The boxes can be weighed to find what exactly?

Well a sealed case was bought at $4100 so maybe a slight movement up. Will be interesting this weekend with Topps and MLB sold out but I am not seeing $150 boxes yet.

It's a great product, end of story. Remember the ones being negative about it were also saying no way it would sell for 2x MSRP. This proved to be incorrect quickly.

You shared a sale that was a huge outlier that hasn’t been paid for. And followed it up with a claim that they would hit $150-200 soon. Yes, that’s pathetic.

LOL - I feel like blowout. People are going to pay $10 more to buy from BO then fly-by-night retail flipper on ebay.

Personally I'd spend $10 more on a 2500 FB with 99.9%/100% seller over a 37 FB 97.8% feedback seller ALL DAY.

$128 shipped is the highest sale. I took the guy on here who posted it at face value. They are still around $100 consistently. Double MSRP.

So probably not $150 by EOWeekend. See how easy it is to say you are wrong?

Funny how a week ago, product wasn't even worth MSRP according the mouth breathers. Funny how the goal post change and people just pound their fist on their chest because they dont want to say, 'yea I was wrong' on an internet forum.

No question this was a great product to get at msrp - I’m happy for everyone who was able to secure a box.

What’s appalling is the relentless need to pump a product that doesn’t need pumping - a clear sign of greed and pettiness.

That’s what has people worked up - the fact that there are still so many shady characters in this hobby.

I'm convinced pumping (at least on this forum) doesn't work anymore. This isn't Project 2020. People are more educated and make "smarter" decisions with their money. The same thing happened on Top Shot, NFTs, and crypto. Pumping, if anything, has a very minuscule result nowadays.

The difference is I'll post what the sales are when they happen. The other side will only post things to fit their narrative.

Who is the one who posted that the $3500 Julio actually did get paid for?

I don't understand how $4k 40 boxes cases make any sense if Julio is $1400, Witt is $300, and Wander is $250-300. A Wander Blue sold for $261 and Gold for $650. Do you take all those singles and $1k, or the 40 box case?

Exactly why I elected to sell my boxes. However, you also can't ignore the monsters lurking in these boxes... Rose Gold 1/1 Julio is an absolutely massive card. Then you have Cruz and Wander who have two 1/1s and then Super autos for misc players.

At MSRP
this will go down as one of the best products this year.

But the 40 box case could maybe, possibly, you never know contain a million dollar or whatever card. Plus opening packs makes you feel like a kid in a candy store.

I shared an observation ($128.50 eBay auction) and simply agreed with another BO member's comment (that BO member said: "Could see them in the $150-200 range soon").

But to each their own!

If that's any implication, I wonder what percentage of those 32k posts you were wrong in

As we saw with the LeBron triple logoman, the irrational chase for the big hit continues to be inappropriately priced into the wax.

You aren't wrong when you're right! If Julio is a $50k card and there's 50k boxes, then starting that adds $1 to value of each box hypothetically. Every time a box gets opened that $50k gets reallocated to the remaining boxes.

The hobby suffers from innumeracy. It's why we need complete economic meltdown before we return to reasonable pricing. The big 3, distributors, and breakers can continue to price gouge because people don't know any better.

At $75, I'd net a couple bucks per box after selling on eBay.

Care to share your predictions? I love speculating on this stuff.

I don't disagree with this. We are the select few that do know better though and it's what makes things so frustrating. I'd love for things to go back to a pre-2018 environment for our hobby, but I don't ever see that happening.

However, Logofractor was an exception to this new rule, and if you were smart enough, you would of identified this right away given the information we had early on.
