What we should all be pissed about is how badly retail is over produced and watered down compared to years past.

Collectors are happy that Select NFL didn't get the blue retail treatment like NBA did, but it's still a very watered down product. No Field Levels or Silvers. Just a bunch of die cuts in retail colored parallels.

IMO Mosaic was a decent retail offering. Retail #'d fluorescents, Genesis/Honeycomb, but also a chance at some hobby inserts like Stained Glass.

I found a half of a box of prizm retail and even though I heard all the negative things I still couldn't help but buy them all. I pulled a Travis etienne checkerboard and a Tom Brady checkerboard. Also got a green ice jerry juedy. I thought I must have got the best half of the box..

I ate at the wonderful Cracker Barrel this morning. Couple of things I noticed:
1) They actually sell sports cards (Prizm NFL Football /Gypsy Queen baseball/Contenders NFL (not draft)/Topps Heritage)
2) Clerk reported in 2021, many large fat humans would wait outside for the trucks to arrive. Probably grabbed em some biscuits and gravy while at it
3) The cards today were all marked as 40% off

We ate there 3-4 weeks ago on a road trip and saw the same. Tons of cards and 30% off.
