Archive packs at 19 dollars look to be a small negative EV, moments selling around 5-6 with Hornacek the only one I saw around 7

Not a surprise at these prices, with crafting challenges coming that should raise the floor of these with the amount that should get burned

Rares checklist was a little rough to say the least. Floor is better than I thought it would be honestly but that’s being propped up by the challenges because Larry Bird will be a highly desired moment. And with it being a required lock challenge, curious what happens because there will be no post challenge dumpoff of those moments

I did pull a Byron Scott rare today, got trolled pretty hard cuz it popped up lakers and I thought I hit Magic

TS is donezo.

They need to implement a Playbook style weekly challenge to have a shot at the ecosystem recovering, but I fear existing oversaturation makes that a losing battle. Force moment burning and engagement for new pack acquisition instead of the bloodline trust for aristocrats.

I think it's too far gone. Most players probably have 6 figure moment counts. Even if you make it worthwhile to make the majority of people still playing burn their common moments, moment counts will still stay high just from the people who have abandoned their accounts.

Unless they can come up with something new and innovative, I think it just lives on as something with a ton of low dollar moments... similar to base card. The hope is that pack prices stay low as well.

Yeah, I just don't see how they can encourage users to voluntarily burn enough to recover and tip the scales. But I guess prices of commons may go so low that people may do it. You can almost feel Dapper's lack of concern for this scrapped project/early experiment, just like Panini. The real effort's going into AD.

There's still some hope for the 19,000 Mahomes moments out there. Not as much for the 217,009 Giannis moments in circulation.
