He really doesn’t look bad. Like people have said, the play calling has been atrocious. He’s obviously not what he was 5 years ago, but he’s still more than capable. It’s not like he looks like Manning at the tail end of his career.

The Bucs and a 2 yard run by Fournette on first down. Name a better duo!

Comical the number of folks calling on the demise of Brady. It's a bad team. Period. He would have gone for 350+ yesterday without a terrible drop by a wide open Evans. Brady has been accurate and the only bright spot of that offense. The line is bad, the coaching is worse.

I know it’s early but look at the Bucs opponents next season compared to this season. I’ve never seen such a big difference from one year to the next. They’ll win the division next season for sure. 11-6 looks fairly accurate. Maybe 12-5 and at the low end, 10-7.
Will Brady be back? Surely he has seen the opponents? I don’t really see any drastic changes from a lot of those teams compared to where they’re at now. |

I actually think Brady won't retire, especially if his marriage can't be saved. However he'll probably bolt TB for another team.

8 TDS in 7 games isn't bad against some teams that aren't to good. Yesterday was the icing on the cake but keep believing he isn't bad.

Look, Tom (and ARod) are not falling off the cliff here. football is about more than the QB position. Currently, 60% of last years starting OL are not available. Brady has the weapons (although he didnt for the first 4 games) but there is just no time in the pocket. No time for those weapons to get much separation or downfield.
Until the OL gets fixed (and it may not this season) we are going to see the same thing week in and week out. If Jensen comes back in November as has been reported, that would be a huge help. all of this to add, the playcalling has been atrocious. simple and predictable. and the running game has been near worst in the league which takes play action off the table. Bradys arm still seems strong enough and i havent seen him develop the yips and refuse to hang in the pocket. just one guys observations. |

What’s really funny is that when the playoff standings are set, there’s going to be games that didn’t even matter. We just don’t know it yet, but it will happen.
Bucs winning in New Orleans is a game they could have lost due to how it’s been since Brady has been with the Bucs, then the Bucs beating the Steelers by 30 could have happened If they went 1-1 those games then beating the Saints is way better since it’s an NFC/Divsion win. All the Bucs have to do is win the division and they’re at least top 4, very doable. People just love to react to everything early in the year since it’s what current. Who out there thinks the Giants and Jets will be playing in the Super Bowl? Also, there’s no point to power rankings lol changing after each game, it’s just silly. |

Oh, I know about people reacting just to react. I well remember the '14 Chiefs game when the sky was falling...
We are on to Cincinnati!! |

That could certainly be considered "bad" by his incredibly high standards, but he isn't exactly choking out there. |

I guess the people saying he isn't bad right now are the ones heavily invested in him. 8 TD's in 7 games is bad I don't care who you are.
Geno Smith has more TD's- 11 Davis Mills has the same in 1 less game Andy Dalton has 7 in 4 games. Garoppolo has 8 in 5 games. So these 4 QB's should be in the MVP Race?

That was a joke but the other QB's stats were not.

Never said it was tank his legacy but I said he needs to get out before he stays in to long to make himself look worse. I don't have many rookies of him 6 I believe.

We get it. Brady has not thrown for many TD's this year and he is ranked #16 in that category. Like all the same tired old haters in all the same tired old forums, you are hyper focused on the one single major stat that makes him looks bad (keeping in mind that you have defined "bad" as being 16th in the League which isn't really all that bad). However, his other stats are better than that and I stand by my statement that overall, he is a top 10 QB in the League so far this year. Last edited by Fenway55; 10-25-2022 at 04:30 PM. |

As for those other guys, like I said.... you have to focus solely on the one single stat where Brady has fallen behind this year to make your point. You ignore the fact that: Davis Mills has 4 more INTs in 1 less game Andy Dalton has 3 more INTs in 4 games. Garoppolo has 3 more INTs in 5 games. Brady also has significantly more yardage than those guys - and that is true if you break it down by total yards or yards per game. But you keep going on with the ridiculous notion that one single statistic "TD passes" perfectly and solely encapsulates how well a QB is playing. Last edited by Fenway55; 10-25-2022 at 04:46 PM. |

Have you actually watched the games? I see no evidence of him “falling off a cliff”. And much like every time the speculation begins on him being cooked, I’ll give it more than a few weeks before I call him done. I think he’s earned that, no matter how giddy people are at the thought of him finally being at the end.
