Default 22-23 Boston Bruins talk.

We in hockey don’t seem to do this like they do in other forums on BO, so let’s do this.

Team looks good so far this season and that’s missing Marchand and McAvoy. I know it’s early, but I think they have the potential to go deep.

As long as Bergy stays healthy there’s always a chance. Absolute beauty that guy.

Swaymen better start stopping pucks or Arizona awaits.

Swayman had no shot on half those goals last night. Three times, a turnover behind the net with an open man in the slot.

Now Stralman, he had himself a no good, very bad, horrible night.

That was one of those games we’re going to probably see a lot of this season with the run and gun style Montgomery wants to play.

Montgomery run and gun? I thought he was a more defensive oriented coach- or at least he used to be.

He’s got the B’s playing a very uptempo game, seeing more activity from the D stepping up into the play, unfortunately as was said prior in this thread it’s creating more 3 on 1 for the opposing team.

Enjoy Montgomery’s change in style after watching years of Cassidy run teams, it’s showing in the score column.

For whatever reason, Boston always struggle with Anaheim. Been that way for years.

Ullmark needs to be the go to guy in net. Swayman as a back up. I know Cassidy had them going 50/50 but I feel more confident with Linus. Also looking forward to Marchand returning from his surgery.

Default Good start

Good start to the season for certain. I like the fact the defense is more involved in the offensive side of the game. Will be curious how they will handle the salary cap when Marchand and Macavoy return.

they need some young kid to rise and deliver if they're going to go back to late may. Swayman, Lysell, a dman. Someone needs to inject something they haven't had the last few years.

David Krejci saved Don Sweeney's job. No chance bergeron comes back, or pastrnak potentially resigns if that happens and then there's a rebuild.

Health is the key to this season. A lot of miles on some of these guys.

Some teams like the Bruins seem to always outperform the hipster prognosticators. Boston is definitely a playoff-caliber team and could go far if they magically are all healthy this Spring.

Great to see so much offensive early on. I now have 5 Bruins on my fantasy lineup.

Marchand back almost a month early with 3 points already early in the third period. Bodes well.

Goodbye Jack Studnicka.
Hello Mikey DiPietro.
Didn't know the Bs were looking for goalie depth.
Probably just a trade of spare parts?

dream start aside from the krejci injury. Studnicka yet another bust. The Bruins have to have the fewest drafted forwards of any team in the league reach the lineup the last 5 years or so. Just getting nothing out of those drafts. Cassidy is a wonderful coach but seems to be addition by subtraction.

Marchand turns 35 at the end of the year. This is probably an HOF or bust season for him. A strong 60-70 pts and even with an injury last year or 2 and he gets 900 points and probably an HOF.

Bruins giving Columbus a hockey lesson tonight. Get your Johnny No Hockey and Patrick Laine collections ready for auction.

Agree. Sweeney’s drafting is atrocious. Long term, once the core retires they are screwed.

Friendly reminder the 2015 draft gets worse the more you look at it, ex. a certain traded 5th round draft pick.

Nonsense. Just means that every other team passed on KK as well until into the 5th round.
