My experience with League Pass on my Laptop this season has been pretty terrible. Its actually horrific. The software is incredibly 'buggy'. It was NEVER this bad. I swear no exaggeration each game there is a different bug, that's 7 games total I've watched from start to finish with a variety of different issues.

Today's game for example, Lakers vs Pelicans. (I watched delayed about 30 minutes after live completed.) Immediate issues starting up the game, first a still of Matt Ryan hitting that shot (so immediately my suspicious mind was racing with game outcomes) flashes for a good 5-10 seconds then, when I enter full screen mode, the game scores along the bottom will not fade away after a second or so, neither will the broadcast options or screen controls for the entire game thus there is no full bled basketball screen. Very annoying but tolerable I suppose if the game isn't lagging or buffering. Trying to remove the score band along the bottom of the screen resulted in me seeing the game was OT. So, great haven't even started the game, but I know its going into OT. Why the F*%k would hide scores mode expose a game has gone into OT??? That completely deflates the air through quarter's 1-4. Then, inexplicably around 5 minutes left into the 4th quarter a blue screen appears flashing game has ended. Game hadn't ended. After numerous attempts at restarting, different feeds whatever, 20 minutes later fiddling around with the time bar at where I'd left off, it went straight to the end of the game with Antonio Daniels saying Pelicans lose by 3.

Yo, it was bad man, The League Pass experience is very, very bad so far this year

But I still paid for it, because, what choice do I have? Its like a buck a game

Would love to hear other people experiences? Are they neglecting the website for favor of Apps and phone viewing? I don't know but its abysmal so far

I cast it on from my phone and it has been spotty. It buffers quite a bit and I know it isn't my wifi or connection because Hulu Live TV is perfect doing the same thing.

The thing that annoys me is I have closed caption on every game that is casted to the TV. I haven't figured out a way to get it off. Makes it tough to see the score and time!

I know man, I question is it my connection? all the time but I'm guessing it probably isn't because everything else works flawlessly with fibre optic. The buffering has become insufferable at times, a game can work perfectly for a quarter and then bang it buffers every 2 seconds completely destroying game flow and sending me into a rage. They appear to have taken away the option to cut back video stream quality that I know for a fact has many people unimpressed

Isn't league pass only worth it if you follow a team that stinks? Anyone good will have a ton of tnt/espn/abc games. And if you do follow a team that stinks, why pay for the games? Just wait for the lottery and rinse and repeat.

It's definitely the stream, I have the same lag and low quality issue when I try to watch on my laptop...on the TV via cable, there's no problem at all.

I would, but everyone is right- you need to make sure your market isn't blacked out. I had that problem with the Marlins on MLB.TV, although it wasn't a big deal when I was home (I had Bally's) I couldn't watch when traveling around South Florida.

Same with the Florida Panthers, but there is NHL Lemuiex for that. Google NHL(Lemuiex's Number) to see what I mean.

Works fine on my roku device. Preseason games i had a problem where it would close the app and take me back to the home screen every 15-20 mins but after deleting the app and reinstalling i haven't had a problem since.

I thought you don't get those games anyway via league pass. Is that not the case?

Again, if you would just search online there’s a very simple work around to watch any of the blackout games live

So I looked this up (quickly) and see that you can go through a VPN to hide your location, but also that blacked out games are available after the live airing. Anyone know how long it takes for the games to be available?

What I'm trying to do is watch my local team the morning after with the ability to fast forward to cut the actual game down to an hour or so. I want to do it through a TV, though, and I don't know if I can do VPN or whatever on my TV.

Some TV's you might be able to you'd have to look up your particular model. You can also install a vpn directly on a lot of routers but that is a little more complicated than downloading an app. I prefer my Roku device over the firestick i've had them both but the roku doesn't have vpn apps and firestick does. I used to have express vpn on my firestick when i had it.

As far as the replays they should be available within a few hours after the game. For blacked out local games they are available to be viewed but i think the wait time is a lot longer. I read 72 hours but it's not that long because i just checked and the Wed night Celtics/Cavs game works for me right now.

Word. Thank you. Even a lesser wait time kinda throws off my plan, unless that wait time is like 8 hours. I'm hoping to have the game available by 5:30 AM or so. I may have to figure out another way if one exists or scrap the idea entirely.
