Doesn't do any good without scans. The 1980's Topps baseball will be telling. I like the TMNT cards.

Gawd damn, based on the picture that Dan had, that's really terrible. How do you get two employees from two different companies to miss that?

It's a terrible look for Nat, but I don't think the graders know which cards are submitted by Nat.

Yes, it's possible Nat is getting preferential treatment. We can't say for sure since we don't know what's going on behind closed doors and there's not enough transparency and even general objectivity in grading, but it's beyond dumb for a guy to risk his rep for a single grade on this card.

It's more just incompetence by PSA.

I do wonder if he gets to skip the line or has to wait months/years for service like everyone else.

Did I miss somethng or are you talking about the conflict of interest? It was a 10-card sub and she got 2 or 3 10's from a Sapphire release? Most were 8's. That's not good.

Nat should not grade his own cards with PSA. Clear conflict.

Theres like 60 PSA 10’s of that card. It’s not that rare.

Wow.. that’s pretty bad. If those were all the same submission that’s highly suspect.

I'm all for laughing at influencers but did you even watch the video? She subbed 10 cards, and 8/10 of them graded an 8 or lower.

I sold a 8 x psa 9 cards to someone last summer. They re appeared as psa 10s months later. I dont know if its preferential or not, but to be honest, 10s come back as 9s all the time for no reason other than the grader simply didnt want to give it a 10. And vice versa

It’s becoming such a chore that you might want to hire a guy for that.

That seems really extreme, were they serial # cards to confirm they really yours?

Do people not realize that many cards submitted by Nat are very high end? Only so many people own these cards and PSA and BGS are going to know who the super high end cards are from pretty often. Same with the high end cards getting resubmitted and getting higher grades. You think these guys don't see each other and talk at shows? You don't think after years, over a decade, or decades of doing business they don't know who these guys are? On the very high end scale they all know who has what and who is submitting what. This industry has as much or more corruption than any on earth.

Hahaha right, all 2020 or newer chrome, and the only 10’s were unnumbered(I think) personally I would have been disappointed
I see nats posts on ig (which are less frequent lately), he gets 6’s, 7’s, 5’s, etc. obviously this 10 was a mistake and an egregious one

IMO all grading companies make mistakes, some worse than others, thus why I love raw and 8’s and 9’s from most companies except HGA

4 of the 8 were numbered. I know for a fact they were mine. The other 4 were not but what is the chances that the PSA 10 versions of the cards from the batch all serial # in order were not mine as well when submitted? Its not as if they were really common cards (2012 prizm silver base).

Its about all I will say because Im pretty certain the individual wouldnt want me to making their cards public at the moment. And it is totally ok if you do not believe me. Its the truth.

It's been rumored for a long time that certain submitters get preferential treatment by the TPGs....so I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is true.

Anybody who thinks that third-party grading is truly objective is very naive....

He also wins stuff on Goldin, which is another conflict of interest. A lot of questionable stuff, in my opinion, going on at Collectors.

Of course he gets to skip the line. And I'd say he owns some pretty unique cards. It isn't stuff people are submitting everyday. So I'd even argue that the grader definitely knows it is his cards he is submitting.

Not even to mention the fact that somebody could literally just open the door and tip the grader off. Or what about the paperwork?

SMH......and people look at me like I'm from Mars when I tell them that I don't grade. Once BGS or PSA starts doing this through a computer and takes all the human elements out, maybe, but until then, enjoy sending stuff in knowing that unless you're special you're getting 8's.

I've never graded, and done just fine. Only sent 2 cards to BGS years back. Just not worth the hassle IMO. You can still buy graded cards on the secondary market.
