This will get zero replies and buried under the 5 million omplaint threads but---Kangz finally have Goodish team yall!!! Still some stuff to work on but for the first time in 18 years this team has a realistic chance to make the playoffs---HEYYO!!

I'm in for it. From your mouth to God's ears. Been competitive in every game except for the Memphis game really, and it's understandable that it takes a while for them to figure out how to win close games. 6-2 in their last 8 games including wins over Miami, Cleveland, and GSW with both losses being to Miami and GSW essentially at the buzzer does make me hopeful.

That said, not sure I have confidence in a win tonight vs. the Nets. They do not generally play Brooklyn well.

It's starting to feel like we actually could have a shot. That bottom 5 defense troubles me.

Absolutely. In their losses this year, it has been the defense that failed them and especially the inability to get stops in the 4th quarter. You won't win consistently without stopping teams when it matters in close games. The encouraging sign? They're 19th in defensive rating in the last 9 games going 7-2 and the defense is clearly better. Hope it can stick because being top 20 in defense is enormous improvement (sadly) for this team. And they're 2nd in offense during that stretch.

Sabonis, Fox, Huerter, Murray, Barnes have all been playing great. Bench with Monk & Davis putting up some excellent numbers as well. It will be nice to see the Kings back in the playoffs, hope they can tighten up the defense.

This is what is needed. Outscoring everyone is great...until you go cold from outside, your stars have a rough night, or you face a great defense. The Kings need to be able to get stops in the 4th quarter. They don't need to do it every game, but need to have that ability to win consistently against good teams.

The next four games (@Mem, @ATL, @BOS, vs. PHX) is going to be a good litmus test. 3 on the road, but Memphis and Phoenix starting lineups are pretty injured right now. I'll be happy with 2-2 record given those factors.

Big win tonight over a Memphis team with Ja back. Would’ve been a much bigger statement if they didn't almost literally throw the game away in the last few minutes.
