What did he admit to then and why did the team let him go?

It's not even worth engaging with someone who is coming from a position of irrationality

May have missed something, but why would someone not seeking damages accept a settlement?

Ironic. Have fun wading through life not being able to think critically, or in the case of you two--at all

I guess it depends on the details of the settlement. We’ll probably never know. It may show up as community service, apologies or whatever. Whole situation is sad given the amount of time it took to dismiss Primo. My biggest disappointment is that the picked up his option KNOWING

The civil lawsuit was settled. The criminal investigation is still ongoing.

It's just a bad look by the Spurs organization overall.

Been documented she did go to the FO with complaints on numerous occasions about Primo. She wanted to make sure Pop knew about it. Spurs assured her they would let him know, but it hasn't been confirmed whether he was notified (and he hasn't publicly come out and acknowledged either way).

Hard for me to see Primo as completely faultless in this. Seems more like the team decided it'd be best to end this saga ASAP by cutting a large check and avoiding a further media PR $hitstorm. The story's already started to fade out in the headlines. I don't think it's that easy, though. What's in the dark eventually comes to light.

They most likely cut him because they knew there was strong evidence against him on the criminal end, which they'd like no part of.

Weren't there similar complaints from the second appointed therapist? I know he's already got previous complaints in different states.

Pop seems like the type that would be in the dark on serious allegations of one of his players
