Mine is in a similar state with similar dates except with about 10,000 more in front of me. My order did go into checking and packing today. Wouldn't be surprised if it is out by Monday. Like Rabs said yours should be out by Friday or even Saturday.

Mine is the same as yours except I have only 73,346 ahead of me. No big rush for me but it is getting into the Christmas rush. So who knows how long the mail will take.

Anyone with any suggestions on how I can drop prices on everything in my port? I know there used to be (maybe still is?) a functioning bulk price editor that only worked on PCs, but I wasn't able to get it to work when using Parallels and Windows on my Mac and don't really have any other options.

It's like 2,000 items, so going one by one would take forever, particularly with how frequently it either freezes or has to ask if I'm sure I want to price it that low

The bulk editor can be found here:

There are two issues: one is that you need a Windows based computer, an another is that it needs to not be running 64 bit Office / Access.

If there is no Office / Access on the computer, you can use a 32 bit Access Runtime app from the link and it will work.

If there is 64 bit Office / Access on the computer, you either have to uninstall Office and reinstall it as 32 bit, or you have to find another computer.

At one time, you could just uninstall Access, and keep other Office components (Excel, Word, etc) as 64 bit. But Microsoft changed it so that if you change one office component, you have to change them all.

In times past, I have borrowed other people's computers to use the COMC bulk editor. Another time, I bought a new laptop and used it for the COMC bulk editor. It would also be possible to buy a cheap used laptop to use the COMC bulk editor.

Does COMC automatically cross post to eBay? Listed some cards for sale in my port last night and just curious if they are automatically cross posted as a BIN on eBay

I don't think it's everything that gets cross-posted, but I don't know how they pick and choose. If I had to guess, maybe 70% of the cards in my port made it to eBay at some point.

They will automatically cross post some, but probably not all, of your items at any given time. eBay gives them a certain number of listings, and will sometimes increase that number under certain circumstances.

The specific cards which are cross posted at any given time are mostly chosen by an algorithm. Nobody knows the exact secret sauce, but they tend to favor items which were newly processed, and players / sets / attributes which are likely to sell.

How do you all with larger inventories keep up with fluctuations in pricing? I have about 2k items that I always try to have as the lowest price. I know many of your adopt very different strategies with pricing and inventory management. Now that my port has grown to a reasonable size, I can't maintain my old way of doing things. If anybody has any guidance/tips, I would be very appreciative. Best of luck on everyone's sales!

Go back a couple pages in this thread. I asked a similar question and there were a lot of good answers on how people adjust their prices.

Thanks! Definitely some helpful information there. Still cant figure out how some of the large ports stay on top of prices, but not sure any of those profiles are willing to share their methods.

Sorry to ask a question that everyone probably knows the answer to, but here goes:

What constitutes a “thick” card that would trigger the $3 up charge? (Or any up charge)

I bought a collection with a couple hundred early 2000s relic, patch, auto cards.
I’d rather send to COMC than buy top loaders and list on eBay. But it just doesn’t make sense to do COMC if I have to pay an extra $3 to get them listed.

Thanks

From the support FAQ:

"Modern cards larger than 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" or Vintage cards larger than 2 5/8" by 3 3/4" are considered oversized. Items from either era over 130 pt. (1/10th of an inch) are considered oversized.

Poker chips/coin, metallic cards and "Tallboy" cards are considered oversized. 1989 Bowman is not considered oversized.

Please note that we do not support items with dimensions greater than 11.5" x 16.5"."

I've noticed that a lot of information (such as this) that used to be findable on the main site has migrated into the support tool. The good news is that the tool's search function seems to work pretty well. I found this simply by searching on "thick".

Anyone who wants to discuss this sort of stuff in more detail is welcome to send a private message. I'll try to be helpful when I can.

In general, I don't stay on top of every price of every card.

I'll set the initial price based on some sort of rationale.

A few times per year, if the bulk relisting tool is functioning, I'll drop prices of items which haven't been modified in the past 90 days by some fixed percentage (usually 3% to 6%).

If I run across one of my cards while I'm searching the site, and the price seems out of balance (either too high or too low), I might make some adjustments at that time.

If a particular player or set / subset is selling well, I might take a closer look at those items which I have in stock and possibly revise some / most / all of the prices.

You might want to look again.

You only got those cards from the Topps 70th Anniversary Celebration Party in Manhattan. Only 250 boxes were made and they are a print run of 92

The celebration logo gives it away
