I think this is the amount that applies to non-encased oversized cards from some other items I've seen, but am not 100% sure. And AFAICT irritatingly neither the site nor the help tool provides any information on what the 0.45 S&H means.

General rule of thumb is that "standard" sized cards will fit easily in a 9 pocket or 6 pocket page, and anything that won't is "oversized".

45 cent S&H usually means the item was processed in a toploader. Sometimes this is because it is oversized. On some items which were processed a long time ago, it might have meant the item was expensive, but these days expensive items are usually processed as "Elite" (black background, higher contrast scan, $1 s&h).

The black background Elite processing can also just mean the item was, at one time, sent to auction. So there are 10 cent "Elite" items floating around.

To answer the specific question, these cards seem to be "oversized", though I have no idea the exact dimensions that would make an item "oversized" at the present time. COMC frequently changes the rules, and doesn't always explain things very well. So the wordy answer is intended to help people with the thought process in case there are any corner cases in the future.
I didn't repost this orginally since it was a page or two back, but in case helpful to the OP the Support Tool says the following:

"What is considered a Oversized or Thick item?

Modern cards larger than 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" or Vintage cards larger than 2 5/8" by 3 3/4" are considered oversized. Items from either era over 130 pt. (1/10th of an inch) are considered oversized.

Poker chips, coins, metallic cards and "Tallboy" cards are considered oversized. 1989 Bowman is not considered oversized.

Please note that we do not support items with dimensions greater than 11.5" x 16.5"."

So assuming the helmet card isn't oversized by width and length (I haven't seen one) in theory the answer is going to depend on whether it is over 130pt.

Not on COMC, but you can put your 3-letter seller code into watchcount.com you can see a list of your items that are being watched on ebay. (also use with the terms "card" or "comc" if you are getting lists of non-comc items from other ebay sellers)

Watchcount trick: Post 12 and 16
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showth...ghlight=primer

Their software doesn't support showing who has seen or watched an item on COMC, but it was requested a few years back in the software request thread here on blowout.

That is encouraging. Sent mine in around the same time and have yet to see any progress with the deadline looming. Not sure if they'll get all 500 done in time.

They are 260pt.

Good luck.

The 120 day mark would have been January 6th for a 207 card order

First card was entered on December 11th. Just got the notification that the order has been completely processed. So 10 calendar days to get 207 cards listed. That’s impressive.

Wish they would have started listing sooner, but I’ll take it.

In a way you kind of hope they go past the deadline so discounts start being applied, right?

Well done! These were all the $1 cards you bought from Chantilly right?

I think 70-80% were Chantilly dollar bin rummaging. I also sent in all the NSCC promo stuff they gave me.

I sent in a lot of the Topps 70th Anniversary Party Celebration cards (they look like the platinum anniversary chrome cards, but are paper, and were only available at the party in Manhattan. Only 250 boxes were made and they have a print run of 92 per).

Just broke $2500 in sales for the year. I started in March

564 cards sold for an average sales price of $4.44. Have been able to add a bunch of Ichiro, Jeter, and pre-war vintage to the collection as a result

Very cool. What are you selling the $1 cards from Chantilly for on COMC? $2-3 per roughly?

That is the sweet spot.

I'd like to target more lower end relic cards of notable names. Going to see if there is something there (I am sure others can chime in here on that idea)

Nice! I grabbed a card from ya. I just started selling in Octber. Already have 100+ cards sold & $200+ in sales. 1/2 of that is this month as I figure things out. I was 95% vintage but am branching out into modern.

Fun way to make a little money to spend on more cards!

Relics can do well. They aren't easy to PWE and shipping on eBay often means you'll be paying $8-$10 for a card you would realistically find a $2-$3 box at a show.

Split the difference around $4-$5 a piece on COMC and it's compromise that benefits both buyers and sellers.

They charge more to list on COMC though due to them being thicker?

Most relics are 130 point or less and therefore have the regular listing price.

I have a card on my watch list that still shows a price but does not look to be available for sale on the platform anymore. I click on the item number and it does not show the card, just a blank Comc page. Normally the watch list would show - not for sale - next to the item but this one still shows the price.
First time I have ever seen this.

Did you clear your browser cache? Could be an issue on your system. If you press Shift and reload the page, does it still show a price?

Thanks, that does not seem to fix it. Tried multiple devices with the same result. Thought there might be a reason I was unaware of.

That would show up as a sold out item. It's likely this item either sold OR the user took it down from sale status.

Looks like those helmet "relic" cards are coming through as oversized (based on the $1 s/h fee). So don't send them unless you think you can get much more than the $3.50 submission fee on them.

If you click on the item number you will get a blank page.

Just went to request a shipment from COMC, and a handful of the cards don't have the "+35¢ Add Toploader" option. I've requested about 10 shipments in the past and don't think I've ever seen this. I would like all the cards in this order to be top-loaded.

Anyone know if this is by design? And does this mean those cards will ship in a toploader free of charge?

If they are oversized or elite (.45 or $1 s/h fee), they already have a toploader. So there's no extra fee for one available.
