Everyone wanted to be like Mike.

No one wants to be like Lebron.

Kids who wanted to buy Bron cards when they grew up have already grown up and had their chance - no more interest from the younger generation z - they just think he’s a really bad actor - both on the court and on the screen.

Why would anyone want cards of a stat-padder like that?

People who ask for Bron cards at shows always get strange looks from dealers, like they are questioning the purchase - “are you sure you actually want that?”. It’s like they can’t believe they are finally moving his cards, lol.

over on the realgm thread he's getting tons of flak for his '11 Finals meltdown. "GOATs don't do that" they say. "5 chips would put him almost there with MJ, and in a tougher era, and he blew that chance in '11," they say. Also the flopping, and no one even mentions his ~7 minutes of Shaqtin' a Fool footage.

On the plus side for Bron,

now that's dialectic

on the minus side we have these eyesores

he's nonetheless the #1 choice among the realgm crowd and that includes Tallboy last time I heard. Maybe Tallboy can weigh in on these eyesores?

well, this one is Bron-specific, but I leave the other flop compilation up because it's great

It's the society we've found ourselves in unfortunately, even people that have no interest in it (the vast majority) we're all dragged in to the pathetic "culture war".

I’d worry that he was experiencing some sort of early dementia

LeBron views himself as a sports/entertainment empire, which is why he re-upped with L.A. even though that roster is devoid of healthy talent.

He's not leaving that environment for a city like Dallas to help Luka get one.

I agree with that although i think the last line would be the other way around at this stage in their careers. LeBron would be trying to get another ring on the back of Luka at this point.

I just don't think it will ever happen unless he's what 41? I know that LeBron admires Luka as a player and vice versa but he's locked into LA for 2 more years if im not mistaken. I guess you can never say never but it seems very highly unlikely unless it was like a 1 or 2 year deal and the very tail end of LeBron's career most likely.

He's already said he wants to play a year or two were his kid gets drafted so he stays in LA until his kid gets drafted then either gets traded by LA to that team or if he's a FA signs with them.

His kid isn't good enough to play in the NBA

That's exactly how I meant it.

LeBron isn't going anywhere to play second fiddle to a guy, unless it's a proven champion, and still in the right city.

KD? I could see it. I doubt he'd go to the Warriors... just too bad of a look. Cleveland, where he's still be the guy when he was on the court? Fits with his story. There really aren't that many places he'd choose over LA, given his post NBA ambitions.

If being brothers with Evan Mobley is enough to get you a contract, being the son of LeBron James will be as well.

Lebron has promised he will come to a team that takes his kid so it will be a lock that his kid gets drafted if you can have Lebron on the team for a year or two.

Would this be considered a warning to NBA teams who would like to avoid the Bron and Bronny circus?

This nearly brought a tear to my eye with how accurate it is. I remember those days and the feel of the sport.

Those days are simply gone.

Yeah, it's definitely LeBron's ego that put up 47/10/9 on his 38th birthday, and had nothing to do with playing hard.

Lebron is the leading vote getter for the all star game, definitely doesn't seem like people like him...

And avoid making insane money??? Not too many teams would avoid it from a financial standpoint.
