Lots of us think Sapphire was a crap product for the price based upon what boxes yield. Is that the same as “oh I can’t make an instant $80/box easy profit so this sucks”

Of course it’s different, keep in mind everyone’s comments and opinions should be taken in the context of one’s personal holdings.

That’s why I’ve always advocated stating your position (holdings), just as how Wall Street analysts do.

This way you can better separate the pumpers from the conversationalists.

It’s not perfect, but at least it holds people more accountable for their comments.

There’s a big difference between:

1.) TCU sapphire is product of the year. I opened my ten boxes and pulled a jrod auto and four base! Multiple parallels and a Cruz auto to boot!

2.) TCU sapphire is product of the year. I am not going to open any boxes, but I hoarded 100 boxes which I’m going to flip to fund my lambo.

Like I said, anyone has the right to invest for profits for the big cash wins, but be prepared to face ridicule for your greed and failures - it goes both ways.

If you are doing it for the money, don’t pretend to be happy for collectors, it makes you look like a hypocrite.

Exactly. The other couple of cancellation posts I’ve seen in other sites/groups all ordered well over the 10 box limit. Regardless if Topps websites physically allows more than what they advertise doesn’t mean they don’t have the right to follow their word by choosing to cancel any orders that go out of their communicated allotment boundaries. Although Topps doesn’t always make it crystal clear upfront, they have already shown recently with MC renewals that they will manually cancel certain members orders or accounts.

Rather than buy in to the immediately jacked-up ‘confirmed pre-ordered’ prices for Sapphire Update, I bought a jumbo box of 2018 Update instead. I ripped it and added a nice stash for my collection. It was fun.
