It might do him a world of good. He'd probably leave there more appreciative of his Mom and I.

Well that was fast. I applied for another position in my company yesterday that had just opened the day before and received a rejection notice already today. Usually that means the position was open for someone specific, but who knows. I was about right at the threshold of total contract value managed wanted by the position, so that might have contributed.

I have two interviews to conduct this afternoon for my one open position making it a longer day that normal. I was hoping to cancel them as my Team Lead is sick with some food poisoning, but he feels like he can join the calls.

And now they are cancelled as my Team lead just is too sick.

Viewing is next Tuesday for my friend's wife with private funeral service the next day; neither of which are being held at the fire station.

Went to the Chinese buffet before I took my son to see what his schedule will be for when he starts to train. What is the a average price for the Chinese buffets in your area, ours used to be 6.99 per person with soda costing 1.49 it has gone up to 10.99 with sodas costing 2.50 it is getting harder to eat your money’s worth that’s for sure.

We go one to two times a year and they don't really change anything.

That's not a bad price considering we usually pay almost that much just for an order of Chinese food. We don't really have any good Chinese buffets around. There is one in La Plata that my wife likes but it is just OK. I can't remember the last time we went there to tell you a price.

There is a good Chinese buffet in Jersey that my Mom takes us too. We didn't go there last weekend, but we did have decent Chinese takeout from a place a few minutes from her house.

Our dog is starting to get really bad again for the last two weeks with chewing things up during the day. The day before yesterday was some of my Son's Thomas the Tank Engine wooden track, yesterday was a wooden ruler, and today were some small candles my youngest SD had in a bag outside of her room. I'd hate to have to put her back in her cage again.

Much appreciated.

It went well, the panel said I did good, the guys running tech who saw all the applicants said I did good...

...but I don't know. It had more of a burned-out corporate feel than I was expecting.

I'd put my odds for landing the gig at around 10%.

The one we went to today isn’t the best by where I live but it was the closest to where my son will be working. I miss the Chinese restaurants from when I lived in New York and for anybody who says they’re all the same no they are not.

10 percent is better than zero percent, hey you never know. I have gotten jobs where I thought I bombed on the interview and I have also not been hired when I thought I nailed the interview.

49ers fans: *have plenty of metrics pointing to your team being better, despite the fact that the Niners played a weak schedule and the Cowboys have the league's best records against winning teams*

Also 49ers fans: "Let's make this discussion about schedules and how they prove the 49ers are the better team."

Not gonna lie. Hoping Jags and Giants SB. They have been the least annoying fans through the first week.

I don’t know that I can stomach another couple weeks of Chiefs/Cowboys/9ers fans.

If the Bills make it, how many posts are we going to get insinuating that the League rigged the games so they could virtue signal and give Buffalo a title out of pity?

Bills wouldn’t be bad but that would trigger the Chiefs fans for the next 6 months, same with a back to back Burrow SB appearance.

As of now we are getting minute by minute update of all circumstances around the game and how it favors the Chiefs.

Did you know when there is a SW wind between 8-15 mph, Patty is 42-0 with a 200 QBR? Winds predicted to be SW at 10mph Saturday. Pretty much a lock.

I'm actually surprised that Blowout doesn't prominently feature the phone number for the national gambling addiction hotline on the website.
