This would be great if it was true.

Topps does not incinerate the cards that are not redeemed. They use them in other products or give them out to customers who have unfulfilled redemption cards.

I wonder what they do with all the extra art cards. Hard to repack those, I'd think.

I don't buy the inventory takes up space argument.
I have tens of thousands of cards in my possession and Topps can't afford a place to keep unredeemed cards?

There's probably an insurance aspect of it from a value you could "claim"? Any insurance/legal folks here?

I would assume that they wouldn't want to hold onto BC 1st auto's that fetch 10-25K on site for too long.
