Well, WWE just posted a video with Byron saying "a man that knows who he will be facing at WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes will be at RAW tonight". Also said the elimination chamber will be for the US championship.

Looking like Sami taking the L in Montreal and that'll be the end of him/Roman...leading to the tag titles.

Have to wonder if Reign's new limited schedule might be coming into play and he not defend at EC.

The WWE title is never defended in a chamber anymore, it's generally a #1 contenders match or a US/IC title. Reigns will defend against Zayn almost assuredly. It's in Montreal after all.

Relax. Can nobody just let things play out anymore?

Zayn is not a main event guy. Before working with the bloodline he was floundering and nothing he was doing was working. Pairing him with KO is best for both right now to keep them in spotlight after the Bloodline thing ends.

He was definitely not 'floundering', but he's not a main event player. Could he win the title and make a great moment? Yea. Would the title reign be interesting? Probably not. It's not an insult either it's just reality.

Elimination Chamber is in 3 weeks. Are they really going to blow off this Reigns/Sami story that they have been building for 6 months in that short of timespan? That seems really shortsighted just to get Cody his moment.

I really do think they're going to simmer the story, which is perfectly fine, and go with a KO/Sami vs. Usos feud with Roman manipulating Jey one last time, but it'll boil over at WM and it'll be on after that. I predict Summerslam will be the blow off.

I think we're forgetting there's 2 titles and 2 nights of WM. Why can't they do Roman/Zayn for the universal title one night and Roman/Rhodes for the WWE title the other night? If Roman's not the champ after WM they need to split the titles for each show.

I doubt very seriously Roman would ever agree to lose 2 nights in a row. He is at the point he has creative control over most of what he does. So Just have him lose to Rhodes then go back to just 1 title defended across both brands or do what a lot of people have wanted for a long time and just end the whole stupid brand idea. I mean people just go back and forth as they please anyhow.

Hell have Rhodes dump the ugly WWE titles for the traditional World Title that Flair and his Dad wore for so many years. People would geek the hell out guaranteed.

It might have been posted already but apparently Hulk Hogan recently had another back surgery where they cut out some nerves and according to Kurt Angle on a recent podcast he now has no feeling in his lower body at all and has to walk with the a cane to keep his balance.

Hogan had back surgery again. He had the nerves cut from his lower body, he can't feel his lower body. So, he has to use his cane to walk around. I thought he was using the cane because he has pain in his back. He doesn't have any pain, he has nothing at all. He can't feel anything. So, now he can't feel his legs so he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that's pretty serious. I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it ate him up.

Like, sure they'd be huge draws...but Stone Cold going to Suplex City, did they want him to die? And nobody wants to see him lose to Reigns for no reason I'd imagine

And good grief...

Why does Cody ALWAYS go on long winded promos that basically say nothing? Also..nice subtle shot at AEW..

and for the love of God, never give Dom a mic eeevvvvver again

Also...pretty weird women's title setup imo

I get the history with Rhea/Charlotte...she even explained it in her promo...

BUT..for it to make ANY sense, Rhea has to win and go over...which means she's on SD, so..no more Judgement Day?

And oh yeah..even though you didn't win the Rumble, hey you last 4...you still get a title shot in the Elimination Chamber...kool

Dom has to go to Smackdown to face Rey. I can see Finn and/or Priest being in a multi man ladder match for the IC title which is on Smackdown. Brand split means nothing.

Unless it's so he can be hit with it. Dom is just awful. Awful on the mike and awful character. Dude looks like a 14 year old trying to act like he's a life-long gang banger.

Well its actually a #1 contenders match so its not an awful idea. I assume one more from RAW and one more from SD will be added. I'd go with Asuka for the win.

Even though Rhea/Bianca made a ton of sense, Rhea/Charlotte will be great. Roman should lose both titles, whether thats just to Cody or losing one each night. I'd just have Cody win both of them and then on RAW he can vacate the Universal title. because he was really only wanting the WWE Title anyway.

I believe Cody stated last night that Roman Reigns will not be the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion after WM. This implies that he's going after both titles. The Universal Title is not called the "WWE Universal Championship", it's just called the "Universal Championship".

I could be picking peppers out of fly crap, though.

Reading the Rhodes and Zayn stuff here about who should really face Reigns at WM, I am wondering again....maybe time to split the belts? Could Zayn be added to the match down the line, between now and WM?

Reigns, Zayn, Rhodes triple threads. If Zayn or Rhodes wins he gets 1 of the title. 1 match, split the titles and Reigns gets to keep 1. Rhodes pins Zayn to win a title and Reigns tries to kill Zayn after.

Yeah. Good point. I was trying to mentally force a match between zayn and Roman at mania but I’m ok. A triple threat dilutes the situation and Zayn is a mid carder at best.

He should get smashed before mania by Roman. Maybe Cody can save him from an ass whooping and that will set the stage for mania. Becaus right now there is nothing between Roman and Cody outside an obligation.

I'm telling you, and I said this before, but I was, at the time, convinced it'd be KO, don't sleep on the triple-threat with Cody pinning Roman. Cody takes the Raw championship to Raw and Roman/Sami continue their feud to Summerslam.

That said, a Jey/Roman w/ the Rock as special referee would be a killer matchup as a story. Maybe have Roman "injure" Sami and Jey comes in for the save. That'd be the way to do it without the fans hating it.

I think Dom as a "hardened" criminal is hilarious because everyone thinks its laughable, and that's the point.

However...hes totally unbelievable, from his still babyface to his mannerisms.

That..I could get past, as again its suppose to be so over the top etc

BUT..he is awful on promos...like my daughter acting in her high school play would be able to do better...he flubbed his promo at least 2-3 times last night and has absolutely 0 charisma and comes off like a monotone robot

That is not "character development", that's just him being completely awful and THAT is why I hate it

Dom is painful on the mic. He's either reading word for word on a scrpt he's given or has to parrot what other members of JD says. If Rey retires soon Dom is going to be future indeveored. WWE has tried with him but he belongs in NXT to work on everything about him.
